They do have a central set of prices for items that have been reduced nationwide. For example, the code for the Silver DS bundle is 3230959, as confirmed by Boots CS. These particular items are nationally reduced to clear, as they are discontinued lines. I was told by CS that if anyone has any problems with prices, get the store to call them and they can confirm the correct code and price for the item. Stores can set their own prices on stock that only they need to clear, or that is damaged. However, when it's a national reduction, it's done by Boots HO (which is the case here).

i bought a micro bundle last saturday the the clearance price of £66, with points, for my husband, bit gutted they are now half price....

Needless to say that they weren’t too happy. They said they would investigate and gave me £10 boots points (1000 advantage points according to the other half) to spend in store.

I would have preferred a cheap PSP!!!

What was in the value PSP pack for £68? Surely not the PSP itself????

The website is separate to the stores.

I have just rang customer services.

The items are discontinued, and therefore they couldn't help me locate the items and it was just luck if you were to get one.

I'm off to about 4 stores this afternoon then, lets see what I can find. Would LOVE a PSP and a Micro ...

Ring CS again, as you appear to have spoken to a grump. CS helped me locate stock without any problem. It's easy for them to look up. They just do a search on the specific product, then a list of stores with stock comes up on their screen. You need to be specific about the item, though. For example, Nintendo DS Silver Bundle, Nintendo DS Blue Bundle, PS2 Buzz bundle, etc. There's more than one type of bundle on the PS2s and the DSs, so you need to ask them to check all of them.
