CheekyMonkey wrote:Last week Boots at Bluewater Kent had the Apple iPod USB Power Adapters for £9.50, half price from £19.00. Stupidly I didn't buy one (there were about 15 left) and then today when I went back to get one they had reduced them to £4.75 and the shelves were empty. iPod Nano Lanyard headphones were also £4.75 but they'd all gone !!
Does anyone know when these 'final' reductions started, and why the same items are not reduced online?
If you can, head down to poundland and you can pick one of these up much cheaper. Not official ones but does the same job0 -
Went to Boots in Liverpool City Centre (Clayton Square branch). They had an XBox in the clearance section. Shelf price was £150. Asked them to price check and they insisted it was £150. They couldn't get the barcode on the top of the box to scan so they typed in the number from the shelf label - still came up as £150. Does the price vary between stores?0

It's around the £35 mark. You should get them to call CS, who will confirm the price. In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I have found huddersfield boots to be good in the past for bargains as I went to huddersfield university - so even if you don't get a mp3 player I think you will find something else worthwhile.pudding wrote:Did you see the ipod shuffle station at £8 as my friend got the last one friday lunch time..Have they added some more...
Thanks
Don't remember the specifics of what they had - sorry - and they may have sold since I was last there. I do remember car power adapters, some sort of sock thing, a rubber case, some sort of clip on speaker unit, some sort of usb cable - but thats about all I remember.MyUserNamesTaken wrote:It's around the £35 mark. AFAIK Boots do not have a central set of prices and stores can set their own prices. For example some things are more expensive in London. The store in Bradford once had a makeshift sign saying extra 50% off with staff inputting the discounts manually - which with some things already less than half price and combined with an instore offer of £4 off when spending over £10 at the time made me almost clear out the store0 -
Has anybody seen any PSP Value packs at £68?..My daughter wants one for xmas and at that price it's a bargain0

Just been on the phone to CS boots and they said everything is limited now and hard to find of what's left..gutted about the PSP as I can't afford to pay £179 at xmas...0
