Cant set up e mail on HTC Desire Help please

think ive done it for you.

1. go to mail icon on your phone
2. press menu button → more → new account then select Other (POP3/IMAP)
3. press manual setup
4. Incoming server settings
Protocol → POP
Enter your hotmail email address
Enter your username (this can be same as your email address)
Enter your password
POP Server → pop3.live.com
Security type → SSL
Server port → 995
Next
5. Outgoing server settings
user name and password should be already entered
SMTP server → smtp.live.com
Security type → TLS
Server port → 25
Finish setup.

I have sent up Yahoo Mail but would like some help with it please.

When i delete e mails on my laptop my Desire does not delete them on my mobile but in Googlemail it does so can someone please tell me how i can get this sorted please so that when i delete e mails on laptop it deletes them on my desire as well please.
