    thanks for starting this thread pp :)

    my mealplan is

    Fri- beef bourguignon SC with crusty bread

    Sat- HM chilli and rice - garlic bread

    Sun- pork chops, roast pots, stuffing, veg, yorkshire's and gravy

    Mon- chicken fajita's and salad

    tues- HM shephards pie and veg

    Wed- chicken tonite with pots and veg

    Thurs- fray bentos pie with pots, veg and gravy.
    I will lose 2 stone by this summer!!!!!!

    Mon; Chicken and Chips ( Carnival day so want something easy for when we get back)

    Tues: SC Brisket with new potatoes, carrots, peas and broccoli

    Weds: Left over Brisket Stir fried with noodles, bean sprouts, spring onions and Black bean sauce

    Thurs: HM Cheese and Onion pie with mash and beans

    Fri: Kedgeree

    Sat: HM creamy vegetable soup with crusty HM bread

    Sun: Lamb Chops, Roasties, Runner Beans, carrots, peas and gravy with sticky toffee pear pudding and custard for dessert ( DH does not like dried fruit so I make my sticky toffee pudding using a tin of pears chopped up instead)
    Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Back from having been away, and running behind in everything! Will feel much happier already with the menu plan done. Here goes:

    today - dinner at a neighbour
    Sat - dinner at friends
    Sun - fish cakes, HM wedges, peas & carrots
    Mon - shopping day (finally), will make a quiche with whatever veggies I have found. Nothing in the garden at the moment (except rhubarb)
    Tues - mediterranean roasted steak, salad
    Wed - quinoa/crab salad
    Thur - blue cheese & red pepper potato bake, green salad
    Fri - salade nicoise
    Sat - normandy pork fillet, mashed potatoes, broccoli
    Sun - tortilla beany bake

    Enjoy the bank holiday (not for us in France this year - 1st of May is a Saturday :-()

    Tuesday - Stuffed potatoes with salad
    Wednesday - Corned beef hash with baked beans
    Thursday - Gammon egg and chips
    Friday - Shepherds Pie and veg
    Saturday - liver bacon and onions, mash and veg
    Sunday - Beef and cheese crumble with veg

    Hello all,

    Monday: Steak pie, carrots, peas and mash
    Tuesday: Something on toast as OH out
    Wednesday: Something on toast for OH as I am out
    Thursday: HM Fishcakes from freezer and salad
    Friday: Chicken Kiev, mash and peas
    Saturday: Something simple for me as OH working
    Sunday: Lamb hotpot

    Breakfast is cereal or toast
    Lunches are sarnies or pasta and sauce.
    Clearing debt to save for a simple wedding.
    Starting 2016 With debt of £7700

    Hello All,

    Joined the Grocery Challenge today so thought doing a meal plan was good plan to help me stick within the budget!

    My Meals for the week are:

    Monday: Fish Curry, Potatos touffee, HM Roti
    Tuesday:Lamb Koftes, Salad, Wraps
    Wednesday: Piri Piri Chicken with Salad & Potato wedges
    Thursday: Chicken Fried Rice
    Friday: Lamb Curry, Rice, Spicy Cabbage
    Saturday: HM Cornish Pasties& "Dirty Beans"
    Sunday: Thai Green Curry (made with Kingfish fillets and Prawns) & Coconut Rice.

    Lunches are :

    Beetroot & Egg Salad (4 Portions 2 days of lunch for me and DH)
    Pasta, Tuna & Bean Salad (2 Portions one each for me and DH)
    Left over Chicken Fried Rice (2 Portions one each for me and DH)

    Breakfasts: Toast, Porridge, scrambled eggs etc

    Phew!
    If you're afraid of the big bad Woolfe....beware of the Mrs!:rotfl:

    Another busy week!

    This is what I'm planning.

    Sat night: pizza with various toppings, bought rhubarb pie & cream
    Sun: roast lamb, new potatoes, roast cauliflower, carrots & peas, gravy (veg burger for DD)
    Mon: recycled roast meal/vegburger (freeze rest of meat)
    Tues: pasta with chicken liver & mushroom sauce or tomato sauce for non-meat eaters
    Wed: smoked fish soup & crusty bread
    Thurs: sausages, green veg, crushed new potatoes
    Fri: grilled mackerel & spiced couscous for grownups, hm fish goujons & chips for children
    Mortgage started on 22.5.09 : £129,600
    Overpayments to date: £3000
    June grocery challenge: 400/600

    Sunday – Brisket done in SC with mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, mashed carrots & parsnips, broccoli, Yorkshire puds & gravy

    Monday – BLTs on ciabatta bread

    Tuesday – Scouse & HM bread

    Wednesday – Jamie Oliver’s Fish Pie & baked beans

    Thursday – HM Carrot & Butter bean soup with HM bread

    Friday – Oatcakes with sausage; cheese & beans
