Maybe you can get them for fridges and freezers. This company does. http://www.kcmltd.com/undercounter_compact_general_refrigeration.shtml0

I used to have a LEC fridge and a LEC freezer stacked on top of each other working fine for many years. I seem to remember that this was mentioned in the instructions which even recommended which one should go on top.

The house I just moved out of only has space for a combined fridge/freezer and I'd bought a seperate fridge and freezer. Mine are both hotpoint and I had the freezer on the floor and the fridge ontop of the freezer. Due to the feet on the fridge, there was plenty of venitlation between the two and I had them like this for around 9 months and had no problems.0

I would have thought that as long as the weight is spread across the top of the lower item all should be well. Point loads from the feet could well cause problems. I would use a sheet of ply the size of the case to spread the load.0

My fridge has been stacked on top of my freezer for the past four years. No problems yet. My Grandma stacked hers for at least 15 years that I can remember. Obviously gotta be sensible about it - if it were wobbly or in any way precarious I wouldn't do it but I don't have any room to keep them separate and I like the idea that if one half breaks I don't necessarily have to replace the other half!0

Thanks all for your help.
I have read the instruction books online a no mention of it.
But I will probably give it a go with a solid bit of wood in between. I may tie the fridge at the top to the wall if I can devise a way to fix it.0 -
Put the freezer on the bottom, fridge on top. I've never had any problems.poppy100

An update!
Well we moved a few days ago and stacked the fridge on top on the freezer. The removal men did this and said they did it quite often.
However the fridge, which is normally set at number 4, is feezing its contents. So we have gradually lowered this setting but even now, down at number one, there is still some freezing. So, I wonder, is this because the stacking or has the fridge been damaged in storage, or with moving? So earlier I switched off the feezer (at the bottom) and will see if this makes a diffrence?
Anyone else find the same problem?0
