hi, is it an online contract? if so you can look on the website - they show how much of your inclusive amounts you've used and are 'fairly' up to date - usually within a couple of days in my experience.
if it's not then all i can suggest is to use a phone feature if your phone has it to monitor the time you've used. most phones nowadays have a feature that counts texts and minutes and even GPRS access. all you have to do then is make sure you start it at the beginning of your billing cycle and reset it each month.

It doesn't have to be an online contract, if you have a high street contract you can register your details online and view your bill including call and text allowance details. You can also phone customer services and they will tell you how much allowance you have used.0

I bought my mobile from mobileshop on an O2 contract and can confirm that you can check your minutes online at O2's website as suggested by EileenH.0

I'm with o2 and they are 48 hours behind in regards to information on how many minutes you have used. You can find out via the website or ring them on 402 (free from contract o2 phones).
The best bet is to ring 402 and find out what date your month starts then set yourself a reminder to reset the outgoing call counter on your mobile on the smae day every month. That's really the only to keep truly up to date on how many minutes you have used and how many are left!! You can use this for texts too.0 -
thanks for all your replies, i have a 02 200 contract with rollover mins, so i dont really know how many mins. i have at the beginning of each month, can set counter on phone, which will tell me how many mins i have used, but i really need to know how much i CAN use at beg of each month.
hope this makes sense!Nice to save.0 -

EileenH wrote:You can't ring 402 anymore you have to ring 08705 860 860 for member services so it's no longer free. When I contact 02 I use the freephone number 0800 005 005 from my home phone and ask for customer services.
I'm on O2 contract, billed direct with O2 not throug a service provider. For customer services I just dial 100, no charge.0 -
How about those billed through CPW? How could you check the remaining balance and how much is the delay?0

The OP should register for account management by going to https://www.accountmanagement.o2.co.uk I find it really useful although it is usually a day behind.
If you are a CPW customer, you can not use this service. I think they have their own version.0 -

i can access my account online, that tells me how many minutes i have used/calls made.
it does not tell me how many mins i had to start with each month, unlike orange whom i previously had a contract with, and could find out this info, via cust. services and online.Nice to save.0
