Hi there folks
I am a bit of a technophob when it comes to TV/BB packages so I hope you guys cab help me out.
Currently I am with Telewest
BB2mg £15 ( OH rang last yr and they made it a bit cheaper) on contract until 15/9
Basic phone package £10 rental.
Middle TV package for £5 ( OH rang up and they 1/2 the proce of it)
So I am quite happy with this BUT. OH pestering me for sky sports and with T/W it is £19 ( I think)
Sky are offering
BB free and tv package £15 a month and sports free for 6mths.
So I would have to get a BT line I assume. And it sounds like an awful lots of messing about.
I looked on the net last night and Talk Talk was advertising, but when I ready OP- they gave it a slating.
However my OH is still hassling me for sky sport and convincing me this is the deal of the century and a once in a life time etc etc.
MY query is.
1) IS it cheaper for me on sky
2) and has anyone changed over completely and was it a nightmare?
Please help

it will cost you £100 for the BT line if you don't have it, so might be cheaper to pay the extra to telewest0

Really £100 for a BT line- OMG that is scandalous. Thanks0

Thats only for a brand new install, ie. they have to physically install a new line to the address.
If theres an existing bt line all you'd have to do is give them a call & see how much it would cost to start service with them!0 -
....and you will only get Sky's broadband for free if you're on one of their LLU enabled exchanges.
Click here, enter your details and scroll down to the "Local loop unbundling presence" and check whether Easynet is enabled on your exchange. If not, Sky's broadband won't be free.
You can always register your interest with Sky and it should come back and tell you what you can and can't get.Dave. :wave:0 -

You could be still be on the BT network at the moment, rather on the LLU as Wanadoo used both.Dave. :wave:0 -

None, the advantages are to the supplier!
