Well done on the meal planning! We did that on Monday too and had leftovers for Tuesday's dinner :D

At least you've got 6 months to think it through. Now's the time to start thinking of way's to change. Good luck!

  • The first few months have gone so quickly I know the next six will do too, need to sit down with my OH and talk through exactly what options we do have he's busy finishing his uni course at the moment only a few weeks till he's done though so we can talk properly then I don't want to put him off for the sake of a couple of weeks! Ideally I need part time hours for the same money! (I'm not optimistic that thats going to happen though)

Just got back from fat club and I've lost another pound! Despite eating most of the cake I made yesterday

  • Thanks littlekel:)

Had a fairly productive weekend not managed to pay any extra off the debts yet, need to see how much my wage is on Friday - maternity pay is confusing me! Paid in a cheque from selling my old mobile and a tenner I had in my purse at the atm today so hopefully that'll mean a slightly less hectic rush to the bank after my OH gets paid!

Got a really busy week - going to go to two Rosemary Conley classes (which are already paid for in my monthly fee) desperate to make sure I lose at least 1lb so I get my half stone award this week.

Might be getting to go to baby yoga run by Sure Start just waiting for a phone call tomorrow (have booked in on a nail course and cooking course through them but they don't start for a few weeks).

The baby has her second set of injections on Thursday she did really well with the first set so I hoping this time goes just as well *crosses fingers, touches wood etc etc*

And my Grandad wants to take me and some other family members out for lunch to celebrate what would have been my Grandma's birthday. So none of this should cost me any extra money then whatever is left over from the bills can come straight off the credit card or my overdraft:T

  • Well I managed to get to my first RC class - we tried hula hooping the vast majority of us were not naturals but it was very entertaining:rotfl:

Returned a gift for the baby to Next and managed to get her a new outfit for summer and a swimming costume and only had to add £1 to it so I was pleased as I could have spent a fortune so many cute clothes!

Needed more formula and managed to go to the supermarket and not buy anything else - a mini victory!:T

  • Really pleased with myself, got nescafe coffee on offer 2 jars for £6 ages ago and finally managed to use the beans off the back to get rewards - for only 4 beans I got 40 photos and a photo mug for just the cost of p&p which was less than £3.50 and I'm using the mug as my OH's fathers day present I can't think of anything else that I would have bought him that would have been that cheap:T even though he said I didn't have to get him anything (which would have been cheaper) but I wanted a mothers day present and he bought me things so I'd feel bad if he didn't get anything

  • Today seems to have got off to a good start, rang Orange to change my contract phone to pay as you go (thinking I would only put £10 on each month) and they've offered me a new contract at £10 a month so I don't have to worry about never having credit should I break down or anything and a new handset, my current handset is very very basic but I'm happy with it as it doesn't let me down. Anyway the original offer was a basic Nokia which I said I'd take then suddenly they could offer me an LG touch something or other so when it arrives tomorrow if I don't like it I can sell it straight away :T so my monthly bill has gone down by £5 and I've got a new phone to sell.

This will be balanced out by my little girls second set of injections this afternoon she's grumpy enough because she's started teething so I'm not sure how she'll get on this afternoon.

Oh well done on your savings! Those bean deals sound fantastic. Well done on your Orange contract as well, good work!

Hope your little one's injections go okay :)
