Not got off to a good start today went into town to open my daughter's child trust fund and spent far too much on unnecessary things, the bag of haribo was not needed nor were the two magazines. Also forgot to send off my form for the sure start courses : ( I'll have to nip out later and avoid going in any shops!!
On the plus side I got the baby two summer hats for £8 which didn't seem too bad and when I went to fat club I've lost 1lb which was alot better than I thought (thanks to the double chocolate gateau and 3 magnums I've eaten this week!).Official DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Don't carry cash!
I don't carry anything but my cards because otherwise I do end up buying loads of chocolate and crap0 -
I'm just as bad with cards! I'll just have to avoid going into town as much as possible - the amount I'm saving by not being at work means even on maternity pay I'm not that much worse off!
Lokolo you've saved so much money! Well done I hope I'm in that situation soon(ish)Official DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Ha thanks.
To get into town its a 30min walk or a 5min drive. I choose to drive. Pay 50p for parking. Go into town, get greggs/mcdonalds. And come home again.
So bad!0 -
I walked passed two Gregs today and they smelt so good but I managed to resist! It was very difficultOfficial DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Well done for resisting the urge of Greggs. Unless I *have* to have cash or cards on me I leave them at home / in the office now. It really cuts the spending opportunities.Sealed Pot Challenge #9550

While I was pregnant I got good at forgetting my purse but always on days I didn't have my dinner with me, thankfully my colleagues are very good to me and always lent me money!
We have two magnums left, my OH bought two boxes of three so we had three each so those that are left are his so I'm trying to resist.
Should be a cheap day today have a bit of choice for what to have for lunch so don't need to buy anything, might have to have a chippy tea - it is Friday and a bank holiday weekend! Its not to bad as I'll have it after my aerobics class. And I have yet more washing to do, did 3 loads yesterday yet we have another full load today?! I'm blaming the baby!Official DFW Nerd Number 526:T
