On the money front went to the supermarket today spent £90 but have fully stocked cupboards, freezer and fridge so hopefully won't need to spend much if any more this monthOfficial DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Now you just have to be creative when the cupboards run low. The meal plans on here are really useful.Sealed Pot Challenge #9550

The plan for today is to sort out the meal plan for at least the week hopefully a bit further and resist buying any rubbish for the next 4-6 weeks.Official DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Good luck! I'm sitting here looking in the cupboards trying to resist the urge to pop to Sainsbury's. I don't need to go and I know I'm being lazy. French toast it is!Sealed Pot Challenge #9550

Still haven't got round to sorting out the food plan but will do shortly - I love Sainsburys, I went on money supermarket and did a typical shop to check we were shopping at the right supermarket for us and it was over £30 cheaper at Sainsburys than Asda or Tesco!
Today has been very productive my OH has done really well saving up and we realised the 0% interest was about to run out on the credit card we have so today we've paid off £800 leaving £256 and he has cleared his Burtons card of £300 and something so in one day alone we've (I talked him into it - savings interest isn't as much as credit interest etc etc) cleared over £1000 :TOfficial DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Thank you, we feel better about reducing our debt by so much - even if it means the savings are down to almost nothing, but its better in the long run. Done two weeks worth of meal planning and we should still have plenty of food left so its all looking goodOfficial DFW Nerd Number 526:T

Got off to a good start with the meal planning and because we made so much the first night we had enough for the night after so everythings been moved on a day
Quidco money arrived in my account today so thats another £14 to keep me off my overdraft limit! Daren't spend any money though as I'm not sure how much my maternity pay will be this month - I started maternity leave the first week of February and haven't had two pays the same since! Totally confused but on the plus side they've all been more than I was expecting!
I've still got six months of maternity leave left and I'm already dreading going back to work:( -so much so that I've even looked at how to register to be a child minder so I can look after my own little girl for a living I must be missing something because it seems a lot simpler than I thought it would be -needs a lot more thought.Official DFW Nerd Number 526:T
