I knew about this before it was launched ad was told you just have to enter a number printed on your receipt.

    What a crock!

You have to enter 6 different items form the receipt, then find the site is having problems :(

    (Perhaps I'm prematurely receiptchecking?)
I shan't be using that much!

Went to check my receipt as I went to ASDA this afternoon, but it tells me I must wait until at least 9 a.m. the morning after I did my shop. Will have to find out tomorrow instead!

I'm sure Tesco will retaliate, they always do eventually & hopefully they'll come up with something even better.

Dont tesco accept competitor coupons, like farmfoods save £5 when you spend £30 etc, maybe tesco will come out and say we'll take your asda coupon too.

ETA NO they dont tak farmfoods ones anymore but they do accept others.

I also kept getting site having problems when going to the trouble of entering all the detais on reciept. I did eventually manage to get a refund coupon for 70P for price difference.

Bought 20 items 2 of which were toy's & 2 Asda suntan lotion, put my details in & it say's that I don't have the requisite 8 comparable item's!!! The rest of the stuff was a few readymeal curry's, some cheese , milk, biscuits, newspaper veggies & garlic bread, surely they are all comparable.
    Booo!!!

I wonder if it has to be branded products rather than shops own brand.

Not tried it myself yet so this is just a theory.

That's what I suspected, found this on the Q&A section

"mysupermarket.co.uk compare prices for identical or equivalent products, so branded products are compared with each other and own label products are only compared where mySupermarket validates the products as being comparable. For example ASDA Smart Price will be compared with other own label economy brands."
Will have a look on mysupermarket to check what I bought.

According to MSE article http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/shopping/2010/04/asda-offers-price-match-refund-guarantee?utm_source=forum&utm_medium=sidebar&utm_campaign=box about 20% of items are excluded due "strict trading standards regulations".
For instance, Asda branded frosted flakes cereal cannot be included due to small differences in the size of packets.
