Oh good, I'll try and get the last couple of issues then, although for an OS'er I certainly seem to spend a lot on magazines...:o
A quick check of my magazine rack shows that in the last 2/3 weeks I have bought (not counting Heat):
Country Kitchen
Sainsburys Magazine
Olive
Good Food Magazine
Delicious

I used to really like Family Circle. Bought it loads when I got my own house and had my first baby back in 1999. Still occaisionally buy it as some of the recipes are super although am trying to cut down on mag buying as I was spending far too much a month on them so I suscribed my mum to Essentials and my auntie to Prima and get to read both each month when they've finished so had the best of both worlds. bought someone a present that I could also use:j0

Hi BS
I get the 'Grow Your Own' mag every month. in the current (Sept) issue on pages 26/27 there is a big spread about the new mag with subscription form. Three issues for £7.50.
doddsyWe must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.

Although this mag is a little towards the expensive side with many of its ideas i love it, The Green Parent, it advocates an alternative type of lifestyle that involves OS and enviromental. Packed with great articles and advice, plus always come with something for the kids to do and has tips, like this months was all about creating your own garden and involving the children, plus recipes and so on.
Once you overlook all the glossy expensive ads it is really a good OS gone new style mag.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash

Please don't be offended, but this made me smile. A green magazine that requires lots of paper and chemicals to produce it? :rotfl:Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
LOL, just because you're green doesn't stop you having a magazine fetish
Just remember to recycle it afterwards

I spent last year trying to find a monthly magazine I would enjoy reading and it took me sometime to find one that I enjoyed. Some magazines can show life to be 'perfect' and the fashion pages are full of clothes far too expensive for me!
But by last September my mind was made up and I went for Prima magazine. The subscription offer was so good, at just over £1 an issue, so I hope that continues this year!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109
Slowly, Slowly = Oct '09: £30693, Aug '15: £14820. Could Be Debt Free April 2020, but hoping for sooner!0
