after reading about the Good Food magazine, somehow a copy jumped into my trolley in the supermarket today! feel guilty as I never buy magazines as a rule - better make sure I cook lots of the recipes now to justify buying the magweaving through the chaos...0

It is The Budget Issue and has Feed The Family for £3, Save Money - Cook In Bulk and a free cookbook with 50 Moneywise Recipes.
sorry am a bit confused which magazine are we talking about hereMy self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
So we’re empty nesters.
Daughter married with 3 boys (12, 9 & 5).

Well Im gobsmacked. Was wittering on to DP last night about this mag last night, pointless really, I don't buy magazines & he doesn't listen
Am stuck at home after a bit of a tumble & DP came in with said mag. Said he thought it might cheer me up, he's right but I'm not sure if it's the magazine or the fact that he bought it for me, either way I'm going to enjoy it

It's only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway!0
