Any ideas how long I'll have to wait for Orange?
I applied for an Orange contract online on several days ago after not being satisfied with the offer from O2 retentions and received an email saying they were doing a credit search but needed more info. I had to wait 2 days before they emailed me listing the info they needed (time with bank and job). I called them straight away and gave them what they wanted and I haven't heard anything since and that was 3 days ago. Usually this wouldn't bother me but my O2 contract is coming to an end and if I wish to cancel it without paying for an extra month I need to let them know by Monday.
Should I wait for Orange and hope that I've passed their credit check and pay an extra month on my O2 or should I bite the bullet and accept the offer from O2 and hope that I will either fail the credit check (as strange as that sounds!) or that Orange will let me cancel the contract if it goes ahead.
