Thanks, its a bit strange. Went really well, just hope its not the calm before the storm. Everyone at the office were very polite etc not judgemental at all, only took 30 minutes for the 2 of us. Awaiting appointment in the post now for our date with the OR (telephone conversation). Just need to know what is happening about our cars ( rust buckets on wheels) and our house (negitive equity of £1,700). Really dont know what to think at the moment, but will keep you all inform x

I'm going to court tomorrow, but they dont declare you BR there and then. The Judge looks at the papers at their convenience and you get the documents in the post !!!. Depends on the date on the BR document, but could be Falze +1 for May'10 (hopefully not June'10 - i cant wait that long with it hanging over me)

Get there early. I was told the similar thing but pressed it and was told if I get there early it could be passed to a judge that day which is what I did :)

30 minutes?? I was there for 2 hours (mainly waiting around). Otherwise would have been around 20mins.

I'm in the same boat as you, been told to wait up to 7 days to hear from the OR (the storm - or so I fear but who knows!). My car's 11 years old but we brought her back to life when she nearly died of a failed engine, she's been through a lot with us! Would be a shame to lose her now. House, not an equity issue as with you as we rent, but waiting to see what will happen regarding the tenancy. Hopefully the LL will be willing to let us stay. Been here 3 years, it's our home...

Just 3 copies each of form 6.27 & 6.28, the fees £600 each, don`t sign any of the forms until you are asked to by the clerk of the court, always wise to have some loose change for drinks machine and possibly something to read whilst you are there.

Good luck, although you will not need it.
