Joined the May '10 bankruptcy club yesterday - at 11.02am.

As mine was business related, the reciever was down the shop 10am this morning to itemise everything and the shop will be cleared by the end of the week - wasn't expecting it that soon!

Its a nice sense of relief, and already my friends are saying I look a lot more relaxed.

I am going to be having a face to face interview in a couple of weeks time, so will keep you posted on how it goes.

Thanks to everybody that has answered my questions on the forums in the weeks leading up to my bankruptcy day!

Myself and oh went br Monday all went well in court and we were told that our interview would be next Thursday but got in this afternoon to a message from or requesting we contact him. After 20 minutes on the phone he said that was it and we now don't need the interview . Surely this can't be over ......can it??

Hi and well done, if it is a straightforward case and there are no assets to deal with, then there is a good chance that you will not hear from the OR again.

Hi and congratulations to all those bankrupt in the last few days - the list is getting longer!

My name appeared on the Insolvency Register the day after my BR and I am unique (or perhaps not) in that I have 2 entries in my name - one for an IVA and the other for BR

Two days later I received my pack from the OR - they don't hang around!

plus 2 letters - one to help me come out of my IVA; and one from The Bankruptcy Protection Fund Ltd saying how sorry they were to hear of my recent BR - all charging a "modest". I shall file both these in my shredding machine :rotfl:
