I had a bag of french beans with a snakes head in it. Never found the body! Returned it to shop & did not hear anything back.
I would have taken this directly to Environmental Health!!:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
My DD had a piece of tooth filling in some 'Billy Bear' from tescos when her little one was 7(it wasn't hers as she had no fillings ) and when she complained they said they would investigate but she never heard a thing about afterwards. Her little one is now 16 and needless to say they don't buy cold meat from MrTs0

Hi, I hope someone can help me
It's not as bad as a maggot or snakes head but I have just found bits of clear/white plastic/glass stuff in the middle of Tesco Finest butter  What would be the best way of complaining about this? Take it back to the store or are there any procedures to follow? TIA0 -

i allways go straight to trading standards... etc, as then the complaint is logged, and they can take it further. if you take something back to the shop, and they give you a refund, it is then classed as its been resolved, and trading standards/eviroment etc can not take the case further,Work to live= not live to work0

Apparently, we'll be written to in about 4 weeks after they've tested it and established which farm it came from?!?! We had the cost of the product refunded there and then, we'll have to see if head office send anything more!
Anyone else had something similar with Tesco?I LOVE BETTY CROCKER0 -
Had a few things - Tip of a finger of a blue rubber glove in some mince .
The tip of a finger in savoury rice ( years before the rubber glove so not related)
A worm in a piece of fish .
A caterpillar in frozen peas
A piece of Glass in minced beef.
Metal needles in Pyramid teas bags.
In most cases its just a case of aesthetics ,most insect matter wont harm you. In fact legally a percentage of processed food is allowed to be insect matter by law .0 -
