no it should be price matched to the product they couldn't send
for example if there unable to send us 4 tins of stella for £1.25 but they decide to send 4 tins of carling they have to charge us £1.25 even though the carling is more expensive.

If they send me carling they can carry it straight back to their car. Syaing that, they're late, do I get a discount for that :j

They've still not arrived for me, supposed to be here between 7-9 so should be here soon!

I hope I either get what I've ordered or the give me bigger cans for no extra charge.

Would it be fair for them to give me 440ml cans but less of them, to me I think I should get the quantity I ordered, not the volume.

I'd class the volume as valid substitution and told them as much when they substituted my 3*2l value cider last week with 1 3l regular cider.

Think I worked it out that if they subbed onto the 440ml cans it would take 9 four packs to match with the 12 four packs of 330ml I ordered

    I also bought 20 x 440ml Stella @ asda £9. This is £0.98/Litre, versus Tesco 4 x 330ml @ £1.25 = £0.95/Litre
    ............

Just coming on to post basically the same info.

Whilst WAS £3.53 NOW £1.25 LOOKS EXCEPTIONAL is really isn't.

Yes it's a very good price, at just under 95p per litre, but NOT that much better than what is available elsewhere.

    24 x 330ml cans would be £7.50 - ASDA have 24 x 330ml BOTTLES for just £9 (that's 7.92 litres)

ASDA actually has (as posted by Simon above) a better deal for the same £9

20 x 440ml CANS - which is 8.8 litres - an amount that would cost you £8.33 to buy under this "£1.25 for 4x330" deal

    Whereas at ASDA it's £9 ..
.. and just to correct Simon (sorry :( ) it's actually just over £1.02 per litre
