Yep, don't gamble what you can't afford to lose.0 -

Cut down your outgoings.
Make sure you're claiming all the benefits you're entitled to.
Reduce the interest on your current debts if possible.

Sell stuff or second job - if gambling was an easy way to sort your finances everyone would be doing it
if only it were that easy
no such thing as getting a job these days, it doesn't exist
and do you think i actually own anything of value that i haven't sold/had repossessed already? all i have is one tshirt and one trousers. that is ALL i own. thank god for free library internet access that i can even get on here and TRY to find good advice...0 -

Do me a favour and stand down wind
If you own one shirt and one pair of trousers and everything else has been repossessed I am at a loss to understand why you are even inquiring about 0% credit cards.
I hope they didn't take your socks and underpants as well0 -

Of course they exist. May not be the job you want, but you can find a job and do that till something better comes along. Infact, 10 second search found a job as an evelope packer in Glasgow (bit far for you to commute maybe) but point is there's always work of some type even if it's not phenominally well paid or glamorous.
You actually asked for gambling tips, not good advice. Good advice is to get your CV together and start applying for everything and anything http://jobseekers.direct.gov.uk/subjectmenu.aspx?sessionid=e6aa48d2-ad09-4c4a-935c-df959fdda0a9&pid=1&o=1 There's free help on CV writing if you need a hand with that.
Racking up credit card debts and not paying it ever as your OP suggests isn't an answer."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

I would advise you to contact these people https://www.dwp.gov.uk
I'm sure they could assist you in some capacity with your current predicament.0 -
I would also advise to run a spell check on your letters and CV before sending them off for job applications ;-)
And what happened to your free overdraft and 4% savings ??

I've already consigned this joker to the troll bin.
Someone in genuine hardship wouldn't still be bleating on with the same tired lines.
As for not knowing what it's like, I've posted previously about growing up in the east end of a Scottish town that had saw it's traditional heavy industry dismantled, being on unemployment benefit just after leaving school, impoverished student days, living on £60 a week "enterprise allowance" when I left uni while trying to establish my own company with a couple of mates. I grafted my a$$ off.
Now I'm very comfortable. I didn't change my circumstances by looking for ways to rip off credit card companies or find sure-fire bets. Sorry if that means that I don't have a lot of time or sympathy for people who want an easy way out."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

He's a student? Presumably studying trolling.
He spells and correctly types "unenviable", "mediocre" and "applications" and then sprinkles his post with typos, poor grammar and comma's."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0
