LW - quick question for you - if you know about this stuff I might PM you... do you know much about the symbolism of metals and ring wearing? I'm reasonably up to speed on in, but a little confused about platinum, as none of my sources have anything on wearing platinum rings... (obviously if anyone else knows I'd be keen to hear!).

My HHC today is my shower. Mother of God it's a disaster. If I don't clean it, it doesn't get done, and I've been playing a game of shower poker with dh. Fack it, I fold. I just can't look at it any longer.

    I'll attack it tonight.

Any ideas on what would work in it?

Well, I can't concentrate so I'm off to do a HHC before school run time. I may as well put some of this nervous energy to good use, thanks for the good wishes everyone. I'll see how much I get done, anyone fancy joining me HHC 2.45 - 3.15? you'll have to run to catch up because I'm off now, a little early...

    Updating.......

    Monday
    ~ Kitchen and Dining room
    Level One
    mop floor
    Level Three
Descale [STRIKE]irons, [/STRIKE]kettles, coffee makers etc

Tuesday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Extras
    1. Wipe the woodwork in these areas
    Extras to be done:
    1. Finish grouting tiles in hallway
    2. Sow stuff in greenhouse and raised beds (!)
    3. Make blind x 2
    4. Online shop for next week (Weekend)
    5. Replace sealant in bathroom (Tuesday) (have found 5 different brands of sealant in the shed!)
    6. Mow 'lawn'
    7. Finish decluttering Sky box - 93% done!
    8. Lose 3lb
    9. Finish painting stairway/landing
    10. Bath dog (Friday)
    11. Try to fix bathroom light. The bulb went a couple of months ago and I can't open the light to change the bulb, so all baths in the evening are the romantic candle lit kind!!
    12. Paint over newly fixed pops.
    13. Take top wood off raised beds.
    14. Buy gloss paint
I've also filled some 'pops' in the walls today. As sod's law dictates, as soon as I'd put the filler away, another one popped!

I had a quick look in one of my books, and there seems to be very little about platinum at all. You're welcome to ask, and I'll do a bit more poking in the tomes:D

The only tale I know of the origin of ring wearing is Prometheus, chained to a rock for stealing fire from the gods. He was rescued by Hercules, but was unable to get the last links of the chain off his fingers.
