:eek::eek: Beetroot has leaves!!!! You're joking I thought it came in a jar!:rotfl::rotfl:

In all honesty though, you are right. Greengrocers for stuff like that rather than the supermarkets I suppose, and watch out for Lidl of course, I usually find stuff a bit out of the norm there, particulary as it's season is coming to an end. Now you're going to ask me what, aren't you? I definitely remember getting some more unusual salad leaves there and beets last year. Not sure what else, as I also go to the fruit and veg market and sometimes get good stuff there.

I've found pak choi cheap at lidl, but then choi sum mega expensive, so you do need to watch out at Lidl. Sometimes at our local lidl they've forgot to put the signs out on some items, and it's easy to pick something up thinking it's one price when it's another.

Our treat is fillet steak. I don't buy any other kind either to eat at home or if we go out.

Pan fry with peppercorns, ground pepper, brandy to deglaze and then some single cream. Delicious!

Serve with rocket and parmesan with balsamic.

    .

    We like thick sirloins best:D

But I do like a bit of filletTournedos Rossini;)

I used to think that too. But then I found out there is some confusion/disagreement about its classification. Here
