Hello everyone a010.gif. Welcome to the weekly spend challenge. This challenge is open to anybody, no matter what financial place they are in.

On this thread please post an amount of money you wish to stay below within the week (Sunday to end of working day on Friday). This can be pennies or thousands it depends on the individual. Then next Saturday report back and pledge for the following week. Feel free to update this thread with daily spends if that keeps you on track.

This is a little bit of fun but for many it highlights the fact that maybe that magazine/chocolate bar isn't needed. Hopefully your spending habits can be changed forever. clapping.gif

Moozie was the founder of this challenge and here is a quote taken from her around last year

The challenge is about incidental spending and not for stuff that should be budgeted elsewhere such as bills, groceries, debt repayment etc but you decide what to include at the end - this is about changing your habits and improving your recording of your spends more than anything else. Have a great week everyone and keep it low!!! Moozie x

Good luck everyone.action-smiley-033.gif

    Morning budgeteers,

Another Sunday morning and the beginning of another week budgeteering. I made green only just last week. I am back on the dieting wagon which usually is very good for my spending as most of my money is spent on food or drink (how sad is that?:() so I am going for £20 this week. I haven't planned to go out at all until Friday night so it will be off to the gym with me which is free.

Well done to Baileys Babe for the purple and also to the greens. For the reds good luck for the coming week.:D

£20 for me again please PP - payday on Friday so down to the last dregs (of the ovedraft).

    (P.S. you've put 18th for both lists above) :-)
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • £5.40 for me this week please, just got until Thursday this week as payday Friday. Only expected spend is my mentoring meeting tomorrow and maybe a couple of food bits. I cleverly worked out my budget this month over 4 weeks instead of the 5 it actually worked out between paydays!

Do you not think someone should decimalise time so we have months that are all the same length? It would make budgetting much easier.:)

It would indeed. Or we should all get paid every 4 weeks. I get paid on the last working day of the month so sometimes it takes forever to get paid. :o

Have already spent this week, £5.99 on makeup (very essential it was foundation and I've run out, and I never go out without it on!) expecting three NSDs at least this week, maybe four if I'm not tempted!
    Have a great week everyone
