don't know if it helps (prob too late now) our pundland have had various named brands cold and flu remedies in.

trouble for me is paracetamol does naff all so i end up spending a fortune every year on boots own brand ibuprofen c&f stuff......... why does noone release a cheap version of this????!!!

Chicky, we don't have a poundland! I always get my ibu and para from sainsburys or tesco, usually about 20p each although ibu might be 40p? But yes, someone should do cheap versions!! I actually bought decongestant pills, nasal spray to try and stop my ears popping at work, iboprufen and vitamin c fizzy pills which aren't needed but i thought they might help.

I hope the cold is getting better psychopathbabble. It always seems particularly unfair when the weathers warming up.

Well, I'm not doing so well this week, I'm up to £51.70 at the moment, and I can see a couple of other expenses today.

I've taken my eye off the ball it seems :mad: But I'm going to be strict with myself this month. I have lots of social weekends planned, which is fine, but means I can't spend in the week.

Yesterday and today have both been NSD's. Off tomorrow morning for a weekend away, staying with friends Friday night and family Saturday night, very MSE :money:.

Thank you Karma... unfortunately I think it's spreading to my ear (feels like it does when it's infected) but can't get to a doctor until I finish work tomorrow which will be too late to make an emergency appointment so if it's not better I guess it's a trip to the walk-in clinic for me.

Anyway, another NSD day today for me.... and payday tomorrow... yay!!

Well done :j:j:j I lost 3lbs today in my first week which I think is quite good.

Only spends for this week so far are £1.40 on coffee at work and 50p on a baked potato to go with lunch yesterday. Rounding up to £2 as rest goes into the change pot.
