    Evening budgeteers,

My only spends today were on food which comes out of the grocery budget so no spends to report for the challenge. I have also taken my lunch every day this week so far (tomorrow's is in the fridge). So having a good week so far:D

How is everyone else getting on?

Natsing I have joined the monthly pass scheme so that should make things easier and I am also going with a friend to keep me motivated. Things are going well so far as I have stuck to my points so finger crossed it is good on Thursday. Well done on your weight loss so far that is fantastic.:T
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • I have also taken my lunch every day this week so far
I have been taking lunch to work too lately and it seems every other day it's someone's birthday at work and we're always eating cakes and although it will be an expensive day on my birthday - unless I get on my baking head - it makes it feel as if I'm eating quite a lot at work and not needing to add any other snacks. My daughter has the bug for taking packed lunches to school too as she is also seeing how it saves money which will come in handy for more exciting things later.
    why?
  • Thanks chickywiggle!

Loopy, that is brilliant news about the ticket! It's also good that your daughter has noticed how taking lunch saves money too!

    Hi all,
Haven't had time to be as good lately, but now I need to be very strict in May, so I'll be jumping back on the bandwagon next week... good luck to everyone for this week.

I always found taking packed lunch and snacks saved me a fortune. I tried to keep a few bits at work for the occasions where I hadn't been organised enough to pack anything.

This weeks going well, looking like I might be purple :j

    Hello everyone,

Can you put me down for £80.00 next week. Sounds a lot but includes all my bills for two weeks, groceries & well everything basically!
  • Loopy, that is brilliant news about the ticket! It's also good that your daughter has noticed how taking lunch saves money too!
Yup very good news thanks and I'm pleased my daughter is starting to learn about budgeting as I'm sure it'll make life easier for her later.

I was a bit naughty today - 45p on a Twirl, but I just had to have one - one of those crazy cravings I just had to give in to! :D
    why?
  • Spends this week as totalled up so far... NSD today though!

Various cold and flu remedies - 5.78
