Bath in the bedroom

I don't fancy it myself, but if you do go ahead I'd at least have a curtain around it. so that it could appear to be a dressing area when the curtain is drawn.
If you share your bedroom, it would be a bit embarrassing when you want to wash your, erm, "intimate bits" wouldn't it?I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

Best put a pampas grass in front garden too!0 -
I love the idea of a bath in the bedroom, but not having an en suite with 'a sliding panel so it is semi open to the bedroom' - unless you have a good ventilation system. With respect (I'm over 60), the air could be, well, a little...unpleasant at times and I wouldn't fancy trying to sleep with a gas mask on . Just my humble opinion, you understand...0

Lol making love to it is a bit different from demonstrating the ablution process. I take it you aren't in the "approaching retirement" age bracket - some things become not a pretty sight!
Anyway let's get back on topic before we put everyone off their brunch :rotfl:.I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

hmm..not quite the reaction I was hoping for. I think I will wait until I am able to complete my dream of doing a self build home before trying this and fingers crossed I will never have to sell it. Thanks all though for the honest replies0

From a personal point of view it would put me off but most importantly you could be limiting the sellability of your house and the lenght of time it is on the market for.0

First time I saw a hotel room with a bath in it (was visiting a patient there !) I thought it was really bizarre!! Would much rather have a nice en suite0
