OH and I charge our phones in the car. Don't think it is heavy on gas. when travelling distances with the caravan on tow there is a gadget in the boot to charge a second leisure battery. This means we can stay on sites with no electrics (usually cheaper) and still run the radio.0

I reuse all sheets of A4 paper which have nothing printed on the back. I use them to print out receipts, knitting patterns etc. I check that there is nothing sensitive on them and use them to print out A***s 10% cheaper vouchers. As soon as the cashier notices text on the reverse of the voucher, they cannot resist reading it, so I hold up the queue. Sorry. Saves loads of paper though.

I forgot to take my purse yesterday when mum invited us out for lunch lol does that count?
I stopped buying dettol spray etc which I use for cleaning down worktops, tables etc. I now buy the tiny bottles of zoflora and dilute it myself in an old spray bottle.Bossymoo

do you have any old pillows, old clean tights/socks? You can use all these as stuffing. You just need to cut up the tights/socks, and break up the pillow stuffing.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. Me and the OH charge our phones together, he puts his battery in the plug socket and then attached to this is the usb which charges my phone. Don't know how much money this costs us but now come to thing of it, this probably takes longer to charge.MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0

An amazing thread!
I changed my duvet about a year ago, and wasn't sure of the most environmentally way of disposing of it. After storing it in the spare bedroom for a few months, it turned cold again...so I have been using two duvets all winter and very snug it is too. Saves on heating bills as I can turn the thermostat down lower without noticing the difference when it comes on at 5am.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

once its a bit warmer you could attach snap fasteners to your old duvet (with an old duvet cover over it) so that if its folded into a square its stays as a square. Means you can use it in warmer weather as a big cushion and if its a bit chilli unclick the fasteners and you've got a cover.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera.
