I buy exfoliating gloves, they last for months if you wash and clean them regularly.

Actually I have some of these in my bathroom cupboard. I will dig them out and start using them. That will save me more money.

Using bubble bath as shower gel. Need much less and it lathers up nicely.

  • Thats very good. Many youngsters do not think it good to look on the Whoopsie counters but us older folks do not mind and we are quite happy to put mis-shapen goods in our baskets (or motorised trolleys) even if larger sizes, thats what freezers are for. I am sure your grandad tells his friends about how good his gd is, even if he maybe does not say it to you all the time, we do appreciate the help and consideration.

Use the lids from the tinned coffee such as Millicano or Azura to cover your wine glass in the garden, - saves the flies from drinking it!! xx

This is part moneysaving, part spending more :).

I like sightseeing, museums, country houses, etc., but husband does not have the habit or the inclination, and, if we do go, wants to leave asap. This stresses me out, both the persuasion before, and the disappointment during and after. So, I have made the executive decision that I will not bother taking him anymore. I will inform him, and take our daughters, and he can tag along if he is ready on time. It saves me stress and an adult entrance fee, but I am spending more at just going somewhere more often. (Which brings me pleasure...).

In the same vein, my OH is often happy to sit in the car reading or using his tablet accompanied by a nap while we visit the house. Then he joins us for a tour of the grounds or coffee! :) It's my way of making him take some exercise ;)
