I recently read that keeping your tires inflated to the proper pressure can save 3.3% in gas milage. That doesn't seem like much, but over the course of a year it can add up.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

One thing that has saved money over the years has been plant sharing. I have cleaned people's gardens in order to divide plants that have become too big or overgrown in a bed. I have usually been helping out older people who can no longer do heavy work and can't really afford to hire the work done.
My yard has benefited from many bushes and perennials that still live happily in my garden.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

I wear makeup yes not very moneysaving but makes me feel better about myself.
Anyway I was running out of my makeup cleanser. Which I use cotton pads for. Wanted to save money and create less waste. So I bought some cheap shop microfibre clothes and use that damp to take off my makeup. When dirty just bung in the washing machine.
What gave me the idea was some product I saw on-line that looked like a microfibre mitt and was £15!!!
HTH someone.

I chatted to a man yesterday cutting his lawn, asked for a cutting from his hydrangea, beautiful deep pink, he gave me, 6 tomato plants, 3 cucumber plants, and 3 crystal apple cucumbers, everyone always sow more than they need.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I hope everyone has applied for there water freebies.
If not go here https://www.savewatersavemoney.co.uk/free-water-saving-packs
I would highly recommend the flow saver. I only got it yesterday and used it once but I am very impressed. It basically turns the shower off after you have wetted yourself and allows you to lather up and shampoo your hair and leave your conditioner on. With out wasting water and keep the water at the same temp.
Even if you had to pay for it still worth it as it will save so much water. As I do turn the shower down but it always go cold and end up using more water to get back up to temp. So now I can leave my conditioner on for longer.
Enjoy

Those meanies at Essex & Suffolk water will only give any one "freebie" at a time - the choice being a leaflet, or a cistern water-saving device. I opted for the latter in the full knowledge I could grab a brick from the back garden and it would do the same job.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Now that was a great encounter! You made off with quite the haul that will surely save you money. Good going!::j:j:j
All this talk of water savings and I started thinking I need a low flow for my kitchen faucet. I think I'll look into that. We have one for my bathroom, but need another for the second shower. I think I'll call my water department to see if they are giving them out. Great tip!Overprepare, then go with the flow.
