    I personally just line the basket with a nappy, soak it well, add compost and plants, soak again.
    Do I need it or just want it.

    Always tuck your curtains down behind the radiator when you close them, if they are suitable......that way the heat comes into the room and not up behind the curtains to warm the window. :)

    I often put clothes that I don't want to use pegs on, on hangers and just hang them on the line, placing a clothes peg close to each side of the hook to stop them moving about the line.

    Forgot to say that I also put clothes pegs either side of those "smalls" multi peg thingymajigs (I have no idea what they are called), to stop them flying about the line too.
