Always tuck your curtains down behind the radiator when you close them, if they are suitable......that way the heat comes into the room and not up behind the curtains to warm the window.0

I love drying outside, and on a good drying day, I'm running around looking for things to washt! Roll on spring/summer!Living a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

I often put clothes that I don't want to use pegs on, on hangers and just hang them on the line, placing a clothes peg close to each side of the hook to stop them moving about the line.
Forgot to say that I also put clothes pegs either side of those "smalls" multi peg thingymajigs (I have no idea what they are called), to stop them flying about the line too.0
