Off to a pub this afternoon that has won an award.

The question here is: What kind of award?

It's like those places which advertise "As seen on BBC TV" and fail to mention it was Watchdog...

    Morning.

Butti, I've been in a few book clubs and they're all different, for instance my current two one is really informal, doesn't matter if you've read the book, end up chatting about allsorts, the other is really formal, everyone has to take a turn and talk about the book. Either way though they wouldn't expect newbies to go first, just say what you liked/didn't like about the book and anything you thought was interesting about the storyline. Which book is it?

It's called One upon a time in England. It's a good book but you're just praying for the main characters to have a break. Its a bit like another one I am reading (non-fiction) called Into Thin Air which is about expeditions on Everest in a few days in 1996 when the weather changed horrifically just as they were near the summit. Everytime they are giving you details of the home lives of the people you're thinking 'Oh no', go to the 'in memory of' bit at the front and sure enough they are there.

Maybe I need to read 'Dipsy and Lala go to the market'!!

A beer award - as in good beer!

I'd be most out of place!

Must go peeps. My friend has just been round laughing at the dust under the kitchen table (now hoovered up), pointing at the washing up (still there) and reminding me it is her birthday and they're going to the pub SO I'm going to have to go to this pub presentation and then have to meet her in the pub later.

Tomorrow I will be running, gardening, treating my body like a temple, WASHING UP and CLEANING. If I don't I'm going to have to stop people coming round my house and apply for Kim & Aggie to pop round (Bathroom and kitchen not quite as minging as the ones they feature!)
