Morning everyone, hope you are all well.
Sparkles, I would like to join a Mon-Fri challenge again if there are enough 'positive' takers - or if you want I'll try and run one instead. Don't mind, let me know how you feel. Reporting back on here has been a brilliant motivator for me.
We have rugby presentation this afternoon but luckily I am the only driver in the family so that takes the pressure off drink wise. Other than that I can see a long day of washing and ironing ahead (especially as I've just found a pile of school shirts shoved down the back of the washing basket ).
As usual, aiming for AF today. Sending loads of positive vibes out for anyone else that is joining me in merry AF SundaynessThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

Hey Sparkles I know what you are saying - I'm really sorry you feel let down. You put alot of work/effort into the challenges. Its very appreciated.
I dont' know, to be honest, in my own case if it was a case of not bothering - Although I wanted to be diligent and accepted to be on the challenge - life got too stressful/couldnt' get online much in the evenings and I just couldn't do it for those few days even though I said I would try - the intention was there. Although I drank really moderately on the days I did drink (I was never drunk/over limit) and only half a glass one night before just thinking OK I just want juice and chucking the wine down the sink.
I know these are all excuses/triggers but my intentions were good and honourable when I signed up. OH's been up and there's been alcohol in the house - which is unusual normally. When lifes like this, I have to just take things each day at a time - I probably shouldn't have signed up for 4 days - but didn't realise the chaos having someone else around would cause inside my own noggin!
I love the support that's on this thread - from you all - even when challenges don't quite go to plan - there is still alot of thinking/etc going on! (Honest)
Well done to those who did achieve your challengeand great that you've taken the time and energy to run it.
Precisely what Fay said ^^^^^^^^^^^^
Very very well put Fay. I think that last weeks challenge was the first one I have completed since last May (1 year ago). It's a little for me like GC said last night about setting targets and failing them. I have every intention (or rather pray and hope) to complete a target then end up humiliating myself in front of the potential 100s of people on here reading and letting myself down. I would never sign up for a challenge knowing that I was going to fail it and once again humiliate myself.. As GC says, it's my alcholism.
Sparkles, you spend so much time on here helping and supporting everybody and you put so much effort into the challenges, please don't feel let down by people, like myself, that let themselves down. We are in awe of the ones that can complete challenges week after week and we want to be like you!
Although I have monumentally fallen off the wagon over the past 2 days, I can not tell you how much help and motivation you gave me during all 4 days of last weeks challenge Sparkles :A
Whether there is challenge going from tonight or not, I (intend) to be AF today

Do what I did when driving home from Bognor the other year, drive past the first Dartford Crossing turn off by mistake and then continue on passing through every London Borough that exists, crossing Tower Bridge then getting lost just on the other side and end up crossing Tower Bridge again, then somehow manage to cross the river without going over a bridge or under a tunnel (???) and finally end up seeing a place that looks recognisable.....that took up an extra 2 hours of my time, plus from mine you would have to drive for another 2 hours to your neck of the woods, by then it's bedtime and no time to drink
Good luck with your dual wotsits next week, keep us updated and stop going AWOL
