HB - new house is lovely, warm, clean and wonderful.
Old house is lovely - cold and needing carpets cleaned to make sure i get my massive deposit back (problem is that I htink the carpets were like this when I moved in!) but then again - good house karma is always great.
I know its seriously sad but I am very much in love with my sister-in-law's steam cleaner she's only lent me it....................
Glad the shoulder is a bit less sore.
I have a sore foot - my car met a corner of a wall today (now looks like its been clawed by a bear down one side) - I got out and kicked the wall.
No other injuries to report

hello guys, thought I'd pop in & generally bring the thread down:(
Can't remember when I last felt so fed up; haven't stopped crying since I woke up this morning (I'm gonna look great in work tomorrow - anyone elses eyes puff up big time?), mega mega rows with OH for weeks now am supposed to be at his house today / tonight but just had to come home, tried calling but he's being a !!!!in !!!!!!. *sigh* not at all sober yet in May but will start tomorrow for sure.
I hate people being self-pitying but it's how I am today; I also hate hypocrites! :rotfl: (no *rolleyes* smiley back yet then....)
My only bright moment of the day (saddo) which will prob only mean owt to Miss P & Cazza & PBT (365?) - ref Swindon con candidate james gray - had a knock at door this afternoon, canvasser, & I commented that he wouldn't get my vote as his personal past made me doubt his integrity, to which she said "I'm his wife" (that'll be the one he had an affair with when wife no 1 had cancer, then). I had a rabbit-caught-in headlights-moment & just said "well done for sticking up for him luv" & she left without another word! There'll probably be an article in the local paper now about mis-informed commoners who patently drink during the day...hmmmm , that's me, that is.
I'm soooooo depressed; gonna go & have a bath, sorry to whinge not like me I know, am very loooow, will return with a good joke later! (well, prob a bad one...)
earlier comments re flat / lonely / bored days.....so so true0 -
Hi everyone,
GP that place looks amazing, I'm very envious. Been to the Cat and Fiddle myself years ago, loved the roads there on a motorbike not a bicycle though.
Fay, glad to hear you're ok but sorry about the bear claw damage to your poor car.
It's windy and cold here in Camden too. Felt quite impressed with the Camden Crawl people yesterday having a great time in the torrential rain. I only went out in it because I 'needed' to buy wine.
Out tonight to a new friends house. My plan is to take lime and soda with me to drink. I'll be going there quite often for a bit and want it to start off being normal that I don't drink, especially on a Monday.
I've had a headache on and off all day which is quite unusual for me. Feeling rather flat and a bit overwhelmed by the huge to do list I wrote out on Saturday. Haven't made great inroads into it yet but at least I've done some of it.
Have a good evening everyone.0 -
I'm sorry, WB
