That rings a bell with me, although I never drank every day and no where near that point I can feel the difference for hardly drinking at all from March until now.

MORAL DILEMMA - I NEED YOUR HELP!
Guys, I need some advice please!
You know I do cleaning for my SIL and brother? Well, haven't done it for 4 weeks because of foot. Text SIL earlier to say did she want me to do it friday as I'd be able to do it as Mum has offered to come and help.
SIL text back to say brilliant, but please don't tell my brother as he's a bit funny about Mum doing it...doesn't like to feel his Mums clearing up after him!
I just feel really odd about this....lying by ommision to my mum, praying to god she doesn't mention it to my brother...plus I feel my brother is being incredibly selfish!(He knows I need the cleaning money and that I've been badly off since not doing it after breaking my foot on HIS stupid shaped stairs!!!)
Help! What do I do? I feel my SIL is being a bit unfair putting me in this position and I feel badly for my Mum as she's just trying to help me!
Why is my life never easy!?! Am I taking it all too seriously!?
Miss P
xx
ETA I fell out with my brother BIG TIME in my 20's and don't want to do it again over something as silly as this. He's just very odd about certain things and can have a bad temper :-(
OH feels I should just do it with my Mum and keep my mouth shut. Probably right...guess I worry too much :-(((**Keep Calm and Carry On!**0 -

Hugs Miss P (()) and yes you do worry but then again so do I. Sometimes we can over think things and in the end drive ourselves mad.
I am an only child and as such do not have any experience of a brother/sister relationship.
However and this is my opinion only, if I had a friend let alone a family member that was in your position, I would have been paying them anyway. Your brother seems to be in a priviledged position to afford to pay you to do his cleaning. I feel that in the four weeks you have not been able to go, he could have helped more. Especially as he knows you need the money.
Sorry I don't want to sound harsh but your Dear Mum clearly wants to help you, and she is doing what she can. In this instance your brother should not mind this.
If he does then surely the problem lies with him. I agree that being deceitful is not the way forward. But look at it from another angle? If the shoe was on the other foot. (Sorry for the pun) but surely you would not mind?
Do what you feel is right and what you feel comfortable with.
Big hugs and please try not to worry :A

Not sure Miss P. If questioned you could always say Mum was there chilling in the garden whilst you cleaned to make sure you were ok to do it yourself and you were. (even if you weren't)
Still AF here. Just looked at date actually and it's 9 months and a day. Was lying in bed other night and thought 'I haven't thought about drinking for ages' and I haven't.
I don't know what advice I can give. But I do know that my life is and has changed dramatically for the better since giving up.
Good luck to all.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Hello,
Miss P: I would tell your mum, she sounds like a lovely lady and I am sure would understand and wouldn't let slip. Perhaps she could do the more communal areas and you the more intimate areas if that makes sense.
Oh buy the way are you free on Saturday morning on 21st?
Running again :jless than 12 weeks for Cardiff half  28 please Sparkles"Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."
