sparkles, do you get any time off work for your Masters or is it completely self-funded? Is there a taught element or is it all distance learning? Sorry to be so nosy.
Its funded (luckily) year by year so yr 1 is sorted out, its taught and distance learning combo and have a sm amount of time off work for study time. Feel lucky to be in this situation and aim for this while working and get funded for it too.Congratulations Sparkles, on all counts :T you sound so positive now compared to when you were drinking xxx
Do you know I don't even realise that now as I'm so used to feeling this way :j I am used to feeling positive which is a little weird when I think about it.
5 drinking days in 4mths and none planned. I could feel the difference in myself when I had a drink on holiday which surprised me and I didn't enjoy how it made me feel.
Bring on the sunshine!
Cleaned the kitchen and living room this morning and done a lot of washing. Off into the garden now to sort that out a bit and then a bit more cleaning and a long walk with the dog later
Also cooking ham in cherry coke for tomorrow and bake some potatoes for loaded potato skins

Afternoon all!
Boys went half hour ago so have house to myself for hours and hours!!:j
OH, bless him, cleaned upstairs this morning so I wouldn't be tempted to do any cleaning. He then dragged me round the "big" tescos though, so foot now killing!! Going to have a nice sit down this afternoon and put my feet up with a book or a film.
Jo - hope you have a lovely meal this evening. Going anywhere nice?
Sparkles - Ham in cherry coke sounds yummy! I'm on my way round...:rotfl:
Randomname - as the others have said, don't beat yourself up. Every day is a new day. Write yesterday off and start again.:)
DB - you and your family must be worried by your tests results. Lots of ((hugs)).
Fay - kitchen sorting? Bleugh!! My cupboards need a good sort out but I get very daunted at the prospect of it!
Well I'm off to see what DVD's we've got lurking here....and maybe eat a little choccie cake or two! Prob be back on her in alittle while, feeling bored!:rotfl:

Oh definitely I'd say!! You seem to be living the high life jo, meals out two days in a row. Is it a special occasion?
Well done sim on letting the taxi firm know of your decision. The boss doesn't sound the brightest but you definitely did the right thing. It's not your fault you were trying to have a polite conversation with a monosyllabic ****.
Have a good afternoon everyone.
Thanks Maman.
The bloke was tooth - pullingly - hard work!
As you say, I did the right thing, regarding my side of things anyway. It was just very frustrating, as anyone with half a brain cell, would know that it wasn't an easy thing to tell someone!
It made me smile, your comment of him being a "monosyllabic ****" :rotfl: Some people really do have no social skills at all. Cringeworthy.
Hope you're enjoying a relaxing Saturday x
Jo - Your grub sounded scrumptious. I'm about to indulge in a chicken curry
About to fill out my CCJ 'response' (re Severn Trent Water debt), as well as my application to their Trust Fund. Been putting it off for too long! Stressful, but needs to be done
Hugs to all,

Jo - Have a great night out.
I do miss London! (Used to live in Clapham / Balham / Tooting, and studied in Wandsworth - lovely area).
Which neck of the woods are you in?0 -
