  • I started taking Kudzu Root two days ago....interesting to see if they have any effect. It would be impossible to say whether they did or not though, to be honest.....It would be a very subjective conclusion, especially as my major stressor has been removed.

I used to take Kudzo before starting to drink, in the hope it would help me know when to stop

have to be honest though, i didn't find it worked although I've heard it work for others.....

I always feel a pain in my chest area and lower back, which i always think is a symptom of an impending heart attack!

    Usually passes though.

    Thank Goodness!

It's looking beige. they paint everything either magnolia or white and i had extremely strong mental colours in my kitchen beforehand so i don't like it too much yet. Once i get some luminous lime and burgundy paint on it, i'll like it better. It's much better quality than before and it will be lovely once it's coloured and all my bits and bobs are on the walls. Thanks for asking! :A

You're welcome, i was being nosy as i love kitchens.....

Only have a small one in my rented flat which is fine, but i love going to the likes of B&Q etc and looking at all the kitchens ( saddo! )

Strong colours sound good, know what you mean about magnolia, but shiny and new Oooooh!:D

  • Definitely. I actually got on my bike and cycled to the offy for bevy a couple of weeks ago purely because I was very angry. I have drank for every single emotion - there really isn't one that hasn't made me go "this calls for a drink".

I also found it passed the time for me. I spend most of my time alone and the days can be very, very long when you have a brain as active as mine and no job.

I know a couple of people who, for very different reasons, have been unable to express or cope with emotions for many years and they are now starting to do so and are finding it extremely painful - often wishing they were as emotionally dead as they used to be.

But very well done you for not giving in. I know it's very hard.

Thankyou, i understand about the boredom thing, i know for a fact that if i didn't work everything would be so much harder.

Work gets me out the flat, stimulates my brain, the social aspect etc etc.

I feel as if my emotions are going to come to the fore more but i think i will be OK, i just think i used to not feel them courtesy of my pal Vodka:D but now i do and it's strange for me. But a new challenge.

At the end of the day i am usually quite balanced though. Except at work where i regularly want to blow my top! But am usually OK.

And i can honestly say i love my job so that's a big plus.

Do you spend a lot of time on the internet being on your own?

    I know i do.....

PS Is it wrong that despite the fact I have been up for 2 and a half hours i am still in my jammies and goonie, whilst doing nothing other than posting in this thread, playing Bubbletown on Yahoo ( addictive! ), and smoking and drinking coffee?:D

Feel a bit guilty but it's ma day off!!
