Morning all, (copied waving, why didn't I think of that before)
Good feeling on here is infectious. Well done everyobody on your positive attitude to new month ahead.
Don't want to come across too heavy and complicated but it's May Day and we're feeling good because of shiny new month but also thread is great for sending out May Day (i.e. m'aider) calls when we need them!!
sim, great that you've made such a positive start to the day after your quality sleep. If you haven't been shopping yet then think carefully about food. I think those on OS boards would recommend something like an own-brand bag of pasta and sauce to see you through the week or cheapo noodles. I don't know about prices at your corner shop but it might be worth strolling to your nearest supermarket as you really need to stretch out the money. Hopefully your ebay parcel will arrive in Canada and then paypal will release your money.
On the TF subject, some people prefer to use that when they're cutting back/out on the baby steps/day at a time basis. That way you don't have the enormous 31 step mountain to face in one go. Whatever you decide, good luck!0 -
HB, please don't bring the spider convo back!!
Morning all, I love May too
Off clothes shopping in a minute to spend the rest of my vouchers and see if I can buy a new pair of killer boots for work
Thanks to WBF for doing a grand job of scoring and good luck and thanks to DB for taking on Merry May xx
Off to shop! :wave:DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -
Morning everyone, lovely to see such positive and cheerful posts
I'm not going to set a monthly target, just going to take it day by day. I intend for today to be AF again.
Hope everyone has a good day xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
