Hi winebox and mari, good to 'see' you again!
I've been out to lunch today, spur of the moment, walk by the sea, enjoy weather while it lasts, you know the sort of thing....:o
Hope evryone else is doing well.
Sim, you're right about not beating yourself up for staying in bed late just one day BUT...try to go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight and get up tomorrow early and face the brand new day!0 -
:hello: to people returning.
I am still on only 5 AF days. I'm doing badly. I am on anti-depressants at the moment and feel really spaced out most of the time so keep drinking in the evening to get rid of the druggy feelings.
(This isn't for sympathy I just thought why I would explain why I am not being AF!:o)HOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000

BACK Mari and WB!!
115: I have been on ADs for over 3 years now and I did have that woozy feeling in the beginning. However it did pass and after I stopped drinking in the end of August last year I have been so much better. Coud you replace the drinking with something else like sleep, bath, reading, walking...
Sim: You are doing great don't beat yourself up. Your system will need time to adjust - baby steps."Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it's not the end."

It's good to be back!!0 -
Hi, can I join in please.
I have a terrible wine habit thats ruining my health and my wallet. I can't remember the last time I had an AF day and I want it to stop, now.
So, today I am going to be AF. I'm in with the family now and have plenty of soft drinks about. (Lets hope there's something good on the telly). I'll try one day at a time and see how we go as a few have got to be better than none at all.
I just need to get past 9pm and then I know I can do it. PenThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -

I have tried to but I seem to fail. I found out about 6 weeks ago that I have a personality disorder so I have a problem with addictions and boundaries. I am going to have very intense counselling soon so that might help.
I still want to stay on this thread as all your support and input on here helps me to have the one off AF day here and there which must be good.:AHOUSE MOVE FUND £16,000/ £19,000
