  • Typical bank holiday here. Pouring rain and likely to stay like that for the rest of the day. Feeling a bit demotivated this morning but must get on and tackle my list of jobs.

The argos chair is assembled and DS1 doesn't find it comfortable. I agree.
It pushes your back forward. What do you do when you've assembled something and want to take it back? Do you have to try to take it apart agian. Some bits are stuck now.

Also, the people I've booked accommodation with in Lanzarote, want me to pay by 2 bank drafts. Deposit and the rest. That will cost £30 and they
want £150 deposit in case of damage. Is this reasonable? I'm inclined to look elsewhere.

Still reading the Allen Carr book!

Hope everyone has a good day today.

 to absent friends! YM, Lurks, BHB, Jo, Winebox, WBF, 365 and others

    Hope you are all well.

    Good morning,

    DB declaring 28 please :)

I said in the beginning of the year that I won't be drinking on my own but if social occasion occurs then I would drink. Howeve as it happens I haven't had a drop since xmas hols when having meal at friends. I can actually count my non af days since 28/8/2009 with one hand fingers :j(two WOMO :( and two with meals at friends over xmas :))

Going to take DD to soft play area so that I can study while she is playing. I am so glad when these exams are over as then I have couple of months breather before I should start reading for the next ones.
