DD was 5 in November and started school last September. She has been night dry since I first took nappies off apart from one accident but now she has started it and I think it is attention seeking. I do have plastic under her sheet so it is not a huge deal and as I am not paying attention to it, just change her bedding while she is at school I hope that it sorts itself out.

I bought DD two sweatshirts with the logos and rest of the stuff from Mr S, Mr A and MnS (I found Mr S tops actually to be very very good). Then recently I got her dad to buy her summer dress from MnS and I got her another one for a pound from used uniform sale that school arranges on regular basis.

Head now better after some stronger pain killers and a nap. Must continue with the reading...

  • Hi all :hello:

Where are you all? ..........

    All well I hope!

I've rushed home, made dinner, mowed the front grass and now about to do the back. Then I'm off to Mr T's and Argos.

    Catch you later!

  • It isn't a bank holiday weekend up here, so life carries on as normal.

Don't work Fridays though :jSo I've spent most of the day with the kids dodging heavy downpours! My eldest starts school after summer, so I've been given 'homework' from the nursery to get me ready? Apparently it's for the numpties who never sit with their children and read or practice counting or whatever. I do those things, but still have to do these workshops? I bet the people they are targeting don't even show up :rotfl:

Off to get the kids to bed. They've been watch Alvin and the Chipmunks for the past hour. The songs are no longer singalong to my ears!!!!!

    Much love X
    Need to start again :o

Oh well a super busy day at work today and then a long busy commute back home

Very tired now as a result

Felt lots of bells ringing inside tonight - don't know if it was the sun shining, wanting to reward myself for losing weight or what

So.... I bought some sweets from the cheap shop and stuffed myself with them and then had my tea so I'm stuffed and writing today off diet wise. I told my friends I had lost weight and how happy I was about this and then and stuffed my stressed out face with sweets and chocolate tonight

Oh well, still AF making it 28 AFD tonight - it was close tonight but I made it

  • Well done Sparkles. One day off your diet really won't make much difference and it sounded like you needed something after the day you had.

Just back from Argos and the futon I wanted had £40 off. As I spent over £100, I got a £10 voucher and used that towards an office chair I needed to buy so pretty pleased with that. Have a whole list of jobs to get done this weekend so hope to get through them. If I don't, the futon won't fit in the house!

Sparkles....don't beat yourself up over the sweets. You're bound to have burnt up extra calories with your busy day so have probably earnt them anyway! Enjoy them...don't regret them!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

I wasn't AF last night - just a couple of glasses of wine - so still on 24 DB. I'm going out for meal tonight with bf and some of our friends, haven't decided whether to drink or not.

My diet has sort of stalled, so I must try and change my mind set, but I'm working so hard that I don't get too much time to think about anything other than work at the mo.

Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone
