Morning all,
I too was awake just after 5 this morning, made myself stay in bed till 7, and have been pottering, wm is on with dd's uniform, and I have OH's work clothes to go in next, think I might give them a boil wash.
Got a nice bit of pork out for tomorrow and monday, will do it with salad and new spuds I think. Hot dogs in rolls corn on the cob and coleslaw tonight, in font of Dr Who
N9eav, a friend of mine never eats bread, and she has a lovely figure, a size 8 - 10, which may not mean a lot to you, but she looks good.
I want to finish off the loo and utility this morning, and then go and get some wood for OH to build me a shelving unit, also I want to pop up to my mums later their dw has stopped working, I think it might just be the fuse, but neither of them can get on their knees to do it.
Beautiful drying day here, I hung a load on the line last night, which is almost dry.
Happy Birthday to JC :bdaycake:Have a great day xx
Sunny well done on the job, went on a training course and got offered a job !! you will be running the company soon :T
Jackie nice to see you posting again x
Empty Pockets, I hope you get good results for your doggie xx
Ladygrim, still thinking of you xx
I know Taplady was having trouble logging on last night, I think a few people are having trouble.
Ok have good days all xx0 -
Morning all
It's a lovely day again isn't it?!
Happy Birthday JC, your OH sounds like he has a really cool sense of humour!
I think I may have put the cat amongst the pigeons as far as my letting agents are concerned, got a message yesterday to phone them but by the time I could the lady I needed to speak to had left for the day. Now I have to wait till Monday to find out the exact lay of the land, I've been feeling anxious ever since I got the message yesterday. For more details on that one see my thread in the homes, selling letting and buying forum, I won't go into it all again here
Having a bit of a funny/frustrating experience with ebay seller. I won an auction for a bedside lamp for 99p. I emailed the lady on Thursday, the day the auction ended, and asked if tomorrow (meaning Friday) at 5pm would be ok to collect it. She emailed me last night at 7pm and said tomorrow at 5pm is fine. Well I can't do today at 5pm as I have to collect DD at 5pm from a birthday party, so I emailed back and explained that I had meant yesterday at 5 not today! And explained why. She then emailed back and said yes today at 5pm would be fine!1??So I've written back again suggesting 11am or 5pm Monday.
I hope everyone has a lovely day! I am going to use the time DD is at the party to get on and bake and make my share of the food for the picnic that I am co-hosting tomorrow0 -
Happy birthday Jc!
Nice early start for me, although my housemates are still asleep so I will be heading out to uni (the library!) soon...it doesn't open until ten but I'm going to make myself a pack up of lunch and snacks to take with me then go for a walk and make the most of the early morning sunshine!
Had a panic about finances being so low last night but someone owes me £602 (has me absolutely fuming!) and are paying me back a little every week which makes it slightly easier.
Hope everyone has a relaxing and productive day today, and that it stays sunny!

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all your kind words (on here and on Facebook). Its been a tough few days, and you messages have helped me get through.
Sister arrives today, and we will travel up to the Midlands on Monday. Hubbys funeral is on Friday 30th, (near his family) and then I should return the following Wednesday after I have collected his ashes.
Today I think we shall have fajitas for tea, and a carvery at the local tomorrow.
Hugs and happiness to all
Have a great day everyone

Thanks for al the good wishes for my doggy. Her vet is away until Tuesday (how inconsiderate of him!) so we're just waiting for a call back from one of the others at the surgery. Will keep you updated.
Another gorgeous day here! Had a lie-in until 8am, hubby know's to leave me asleep on a SaturdayOnce he finishes work at 11am, we'll be spending the day in the garden, need to tidy up the borders down each side of the lawn as they're tatty and bedraggled.
As far as OS goes today, I'll be making a HM pizza for lunch. Just a little oneOh, and hunting the house for a suitable container to sow some more seeds in. Can do without spending any money today, got none to spend!!
Have a great weekend everyone x"Your life is what your thoughts make it"

Hi all:j
Just thought I would check in
Sending my heartfelt condolonces to Ladygrimxxx I wish I knew the words to say to make you feel better.
JC - Happy birthday lady! Enjoy your night outx
Not much to report here. Have been awake from 630 so 3.5 hours sleep last night. Not overly impressed with that! I am going to friends house tonight for a few drinks, and know for a fact, if I don't nap at some stage today, I won't be worth a carp come 9pmMy body can't often survive on so little sleep and I literally get to the point where I can't keep my eyes open
Been doing a fair bit of cleaning in the house, seems to be a neverending battle. I have cupboards to gut, and things to reorganise but everything seems like such a big job, it's overwhelming.
Still job hunting - have had a very difficult week and am stressing out and putting myself under far too much pressure. So this weeks motto is to be kinder to myself.
My neighbours Mum has been on to me about going on holiday, so I think i may be going to Bulgaria for a week in June!:j I really shouldn't be booking aholiday with no job, and don't know exactly how to sort the kitty out but I can't let that stop me going away! I really feel like i need a break - I've been away with my neighbour, her little boy, her brother and Mum before - just like a family holiday, only it's not technically my family :rotfl:
So i have 7 weeks to get a bikini body so some serious exercise and food monitoring will HAVE to start come monday
My little seedlings are all coming along well and it is so terribly exciting:j. My lettuce has sprouted and my rocket is showing life too after 4ish days. It's just fascinating and exciting. Am trying to resist the urge to poke around for life in the plant pots that haven't yet shown lifeStill have some bits to plant, so am going to do carrots and maybe a few others bits and pieces. My pea shoots are looking great, as are my tomato shoots
:T
Tempted to go and get some compost now as it was marked for todays job, but i don't know whether to do that, or crawl back to bed to watch a film and hopefully get sleepy
Finished my rag rug table mat - Mum thinks I am completely nuts(nothing new there then! ) Definitely would make something again - there's something very therapeutic in producing something like that from nothing. I wish I could not knit so tight though - but i don't know how not to. Gran always said I knit too tight.
Made a victoria sponge to take to friends tonight, and realised I have fresh strawberries for once, so might use those with cream instead of jam. Mmmmm. The girl is diabetic, but has given me full permission to bring cake ( I did ask)! :j:rotfl:
Love to all.xxx
Empty pockets - I sowed seeds in egg boxes and an empty bicarb of soda container. I also planted stuff in a whipped cream tub and a big butterkrisp popcorn bucket:rotfl: (not that I know what I'm doing!)A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

yipee I'm back!!!
couldn't get on at all last night - apparently I wasn't registered! I missed you all!:D luckily this morning I got straight on no probs.:j
havent caught up yet. Not a good day for me yesterday as I discovered I'd lost my wedding ring:( I hadn't taken it off so its fallen off somewhere. Not a clue where. it's my own fault as its been very loose since I lost weigh and I kept meaning to get it sorted but never got round to it.
fingers crossed that it turns up.
DH and I have got the week off now:j so I'll try not to let it spoil the break.
OS plans are to go grocery shopping later, clean house and put curtain pole up in newly painted bedroom.
Thats about it for now - off for my boiled egg before I catch up with you all xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Good Morning,
I haven't managed to post for quite a few days. Back at work 4 days now and need to get myself sorted out OS wise. The takeaways are creeping back in:eek: Also need to be more organised with the housework, but its very difficult with DD and DGS staying at the moment.
Anyway as usual you all seem to be on the same wavelength.
N9eav I am on my fourth day of not eating bread as it puts weight on me so quickly and makes me feel bloated. My weigh in is Tuesday so I will let you know. I do miss it though, I love my bread:D
JC Happy Birthday. Hope the sun shines for you
Friends for dinner tonight so on the menu is Goats cheese and roasted veg tarts, Rosemary and Garlic chicken with potato salad and then chocololate torte with a mixed berry coulis.
Well the house needs blitzing and lots of washing to do, promise to post more often.
Have a good day J xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Good morning
A lovely day again here too. DH is already out in the garden doing some weeding along the big raised bed at the back. I usually put lots of bedding plants in between all the green bushes but the dogs use it as a pathway to have a look at next doors dog, so I don't think I'll bother this year! I shall put lots of tubs out instead on the patio :T I'll go out there this afternoon and finish off while my Mum's here. She can have a cup of tea and sit in the sun while I work.
Thank you for all the congratulations about the job :A:A I can't stop smiling!
Tea tonight is falafel in pittas with salad. I'll make them soon and let them sit in the fridge until I cook them.
DS2 has an induction this morning at a local sports club kitchen. He's starting in August helping to provide bacon sandwiches to the supporters of local football teams. He's looking forward to having a job and being able to buy himself extra things and save a bit too :money:
LadyGrim Hugs to you and hope that the week ahead is copable with support xxx
Diva Hope you had a better night's sleep xxx
Bitsy/N9eav I had to use the hosepipe last night as some things were looking decidedly dry  An overnight shower would be lovely.
JC :bdaycake::bdaycake: Happy Birthday xxx
Thats about it from me today, have a good one whatever you end up doing xxxx0
