a mix of cartoon and realistic animalsChicky - have posted you my "Q" square.
Emzy - I would offer to do yet another square, but I have already done 3, and as my eye is still a bit iffy, I may not get much stitching done in the next week or two, so won't be much use to anyone!!
Been a busy day running around here and there, with no stitching done at all. As I say with my eye still a bit scratchy and sore, I may steer away from sewing for a bit...being on here isn't helping either!!
Off to get the pizza base started for tea...DH is bringing some nice salami/ham for the top :j.
Have a great weekend...looks like it will be a great one weather-wise :A:T:A

I agree. It wouldn't have taken much time or effort to post on here and say she could no longer do the quilting for us. I used to run cross stitch exchanges in my online stitching group and I got so sick of people not following through with their commitments, but not bothering to tell anyone either. I'm now refusing to organise any more exchanges on there because it's too much stress and hassle.
We're understanding people and know that sometimes in life things happen and you have to prioritise different things, but if you've agreed to do something, you should at least have the decency to let people know if you can no longer do what you've said you would so other arrangements can be made. At least we're getting on track now (once she finally gets around to sending out the squares that have already been sent to her) and we can carry on.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what the quilt looks like when it's completed.Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

Quite a good one I thought, as being card it stopped the square from getting bent/crushed in the post. Glad it reached you OK.
