Started my square today. I've stitched all the purple lettering and now I'm stitching the whites/greys of the unicorn. It's really boring. Perhaps I should've saved some purple to break up the pale colours. Shouldn't take too long, though, and I'm glad my square only has one french knot. I really struggle with them! Will post pics when I get chance tomorrow.

i started mine aswell... but i did the picture 1st. got the letter and borders to do this evening

how did everyone else do theirs??

Hya all,

I got the letter, and gold border done yesterday afternoon, as well as the two strawberries (without french knots & backstitching!) Hoping to get the fairy done tonight.

I am loving this sewing project, quite a change for me in so many ways compared to the Astronomer. I am holding the square in my hands rather on a frame, and having more than 3 stitches in the same colour is quite a luxury!! Also, straight lines are fun....honest! :rotfl:

Right, off to get some sewing done...or I will be falling asleep before I finish!

Morning All

My square is now all finished washed and ironed and ready to go, if theres any more that need doing i'm more than happy to do them, just shout up.

i shall try and post pics, but i'm away at the minute so only have my phone to use.
