HI Londondiva
What a shame it wasn't nice! Least the thought was there.
Hard to know what to advise you, but i looked out a thread about how to use white wine vinegar. I'll add your thread to that one later to keep the suggestions together
thanks

If it really does taste and smell like vinegar, and isn't corked, which is horrible, you can use it as vinegar. If it's corked then there's no choice but to throw it away. However, both these problems can affect individual bottles, so it's entirely possible that the other bottle isn't affected. Don't throw that away until you've tried it!
Some (but not all) types of red wine improve if you leave them to mature in the bottle, but most white wine doesn't. best to drink it straight away.
What makes you think that I spend far too much time drinking wine, to know this stuff? If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?0 -
I had a similar experience with a £1.49 bottle of rose from Aldi on Friday night. I wasn't expecting much but jeeees that stuff is b a d!! It's still sitting in my fridge, I have no idea what to do with it either. Was thinking of freezing it in an ice cube tray and using it if I have a recipe that requires some wine. Just hope it doesn't ruin the entire dish....I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

It will clean the scum off the bath something beautiful. I found this out in my immediate post-student days when I was trying to make home-made wine in a shared flat with a scummy bath.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0
