Oh yes.
Happy 1st Birthday Jayden.
And where is Beenie? Not "seen" her about, since she said she didn't like the apple pushchair.0 -
I can do absolutely any day (in theory, so long as I don't have any other plans already)
Right, my disgusting bathroom really is calling me now!0 -
SJ there's another Warrington sling meet on the 23rd June IIRC. We should organise a proper north west summer meet though, there are loads of nice parks we could have a picnic somewhere if people fancy it? (And hopefully get nice weather!)
I'd been putting off going the Dr's for ages too as I kept telling myself it was post preg pain but realistically I'd had it before she came
WM - I love that theory :rotfl: Naughty, naughty baby!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Mazcabs - DS is 19 months now, we used that travel cot (we have a standard "square" one too, for granny's, etc) for the first time when he was 7 months, and he slept really well. It has a mattress that is fine for indoors, but for camping, where he was sleeping on the cold ground, I put a 3/4 length thermarest in underneath it, which fits perfectly and stopped him getting cold.0

Henry has always tended to be daddy orientated which always wound me up especially when I was/am at home with him and spend longer playing with him etc...its even the same when OH tells him off, he will be sitting on the step calling for Daddy.... trust me thats not gonna happen with William !!!!Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0

SM - been to work this morning to meet with my manager. She was actually very understanding, she said she takes her hat off to me and realises what a big problem it is, and that she would have lost patience a long time ago if it was her. I was explaining to her how it feels as if I'm being judged whenever I tell people because they'll say things like 'well it's because you're breastfeeding her' or 'you'll just have to start leaving her'. It's so easy to say when it's not you in the situation. Anway, I was telling DH on the phone what I'd said and he said 'well I think it is because you're feeding her' so I said 'oh that's your expert opinion is it' so he said 'well it is my opinion and if you don't like it you can eff off' needless to say I put the phone down and haven't spoken to him since. He's just ignorant I think as to how it affects me. Because he can go to work, go out and do stuff he wants without having to factor a baby into everything, he just doesn't get how difficult it is for me.
Anyway, rant over. Glad Jayden's enjoying his day

PP that's awful, no wonder you put the phone down on him. I'm  on your behalf! I really don't think anyone can fully understand unless they are doing it, I've only left Isla once for an hour because I know how dependant upon me she is. Tonight will actually be the second time as I've got an opticians appt and I'm leaving her at home and quietly dreading it

Huge hugs to you, your doing a fantastic job feeding your little one and she could be exactly the same if she was bottle fed. Some babies just are clingy and others aren't. I'm glad your boss is being understanding though.Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
pp was wondering if you fancy another meet sometime soon havent seen you and C in a while

Thanks
He just seems so primitive in his views sometimes.
I'm looking into maybe trying her in a nursery - the only problem is the school holidays. Most of the nurseries don't cater for over 5s or over 8s, but I wouldn't want them to be in seperate childcare, I would want them to be together. Does anyone else have this problem? Do nurseries do term time only? Because, thinking about it, if she's ok at a nursery then by the time the holidays come she would be ok at the childminders if Josh was there too I would have thought.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked
