Bloody cat didn't come home last night... Last time he did that the RSPCA called me because he'd been hit by a car and picked up by one of their officers...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    evening all,

thought BGT was hard to pick tonight, but very deserving winners

can anyone recommend anything to help soothe LO's cough. it's back. i think it's the teething cough, but obviously not 100% sure. she's been sick a good few times tonight already. i just wish i could do more to help her :(

Poor V :(. Hope she feels better soon. ANy coughs and colds are given calpol here and a few drops of Karvol in the bedroom.

Jamie is slobbering fantastically at the moment!! Currently on 16 teeth so only 4 more to struggle their way through.

Oh, and 20 minutes before the end of his shift on Friday night hubby found out he no longer has a job there :( Only kind of mentioned in a passing conversation too, doesn't seem like they were even going to tell him

    B astards.

He still has his Saturday night and Monday but is now looking for a new Friday. Just not what we need.

    swines.

Aless it's good to see you still have your sense of humour at 2am :)

Had a lovely time at baby shower yesterday. Friend is having a section on 14th, I'm very excited! Was supposed to be keeping the date a secret but her mum can't hold her own water and told loads of people

Glad you had a good time! :)

Very excited here too as SIL is OD and booked in to be induced on the 10th (if my nephew hasn't made an appearance beforehand :D).

Oh SJ, that's awful! How can they let him go without giving him a proper notice period?!

    Bruno.... That's mostly true too...

Well he's a dj so it's the nature of the business :( He's been there 2 and a half years though and never let them down so I would think they should have gone about it a bit better.

Don't worry, it went away very shortly after when a certain someone took an hour to settle after feeding and then was up wailing after only an hour's sleep after that and even when in our bed wanted to be up and playing at 5am. And DH is working today so no reprieve for me. :o

BUT NO MORE WHINGING. Sorry to hear about your DH - that's royally sucky, we should put flaming dog poo under their feet or something. :(

Oh and random...I know Becles is on holiday in Turkey, but where is MDW?? I don't think she's been on for a couple of weeks, so am I just forgetting that they're away too? And wish Fitzio would post but I know she's been around on FB.

    Morning lovelies!

SJ how terrible! Surely they have to give some notice?

Lots of cleaning to do today and tomorrow, I have friends coming for lunch on Tuesday and want it to look as though people can live here and it isn't just a storage unit. And then my parents are coming on Thursday  I'm considering advertising for a cleaner to do a big deep clean because I CBA.

and one minor ranty thing: !!!!!! is with people on eBay lately? I've sold an item TWICE now due to non-payment and the 2nd buyer still hasn't paid either. Grrrrr, it's only a tenner so not like a fortune or anything...I never have this problem.

I don't know aless - one of my buyers took a week to pay a total of a fiver including postage after sniping the auction

It's the end of the auction, you're at the computer ... PAY!!!
