Awww.
But you'll be able to bring your new one to a sling meet soon and we can all get cuddles.
The school holidays really confuse me. There seems to be a few areas having two weeks now. I'm very happy ours is only one week.
ETA:  I've just realised your baby is due this month!
I notice more schools having two weeks too...I don't mind as it makes the summer holidays shorter:D
I know scary isn't it...I keep going between:j and:eek:Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Morrrrrrning! Well I don't want to jinx it, but maybe the binky/soother/dummy was causing all ours problems??? Because yesterday was Day 1 of going without it cold turkey and he only woke up to eat at 2am and no other time - nothing short of a miracle!! Did still wake up quite early at quarter to six, but I'd rather have that, to be honest, than once an hour during the night. I'll stop being excited in case it was a one-off
.
Mel, you starting to get nervous yet? It could really be any time now!
Bruno, it must've been because I was reading the thread right before bed, but I had a dream about you and Mrs B (and E) last night . Don't really remember what it was about only that it centered around you guys. Tres bizarre. And I remember E was cute.

I have found that all of mine have gone through a period of waking every 5mins because the dum fell out! It usually passes, eventually....although good if you can get them to go to sleep without it altogether so as not to suffer the 'dummy run'
Not sure if I am nervous or not...just fed up of being fat now!! Seeing as I didn't get much of a breather from it in between babies:cool:Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

OOh Glam my dream is coming true!
If AF is due next week, and you dtd last Sunday, isn't that perfect timing for you ovulating? (Sorry, i'm obsessed with ovulation/af times - i'm actually ovulating as I type!) :rotfl:
Now listen here missus psychic lady, I don't need to hear about any dreams involving me being pregnant or about when I ovulate! I tend to ignore these things as they aren't important!
I've just had some toast and a can of ginger beer which is the first thing since Monday and so far it's stayed down! :j
YAY for Stokke! Very jealous! I'll have to find a way to come to a sling meet so I can see it!Morrrrrrning! Oh how strange! Last night, I noticed that when Jack was trying to drop off to sleep he was furiously sucking his dummy and it looked like it was preventing him from sleeping. So, I took it out his mouth and he sucked on his tongue for a bit and then fell asleep AND stayed that way!
He slept from 7.30pm until 6.30am with a wake up for a bottle at 2am :j
Could have been the dummy or it could have been the bath rather than the shower!
Right, better get on with some work I suppose!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

:jJack! :j maybe at some point, for some babies, it stops being helpful and starts being more of a distraction? He's gone from writhing and screaming when it's time for sleep to pretty much zonking out when his head hits the mattress...so weird but I'm totally not complaining.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

It wasn't just me, someone else had the same dream didn't they?
We need a new pregnancy. Mel will be having her baby soon - come to a sling meet after that and she can make you all broody.:beer:0 -

interesting what they say about the connection between food and sleep, not in the sense of a full tummy means sleep, but how foods can affect sleep. my LO prefers a liquid diet over anything else, and is a bit hit and miss but i do wonder about intolerances, as i have them (not fully explored as i moved over here when i was starting to find out about them) and wonder if it may have something to do with her sleep (or you can read as i might be grasping at straws)
Will text you but I would say if you are paying for a consultation I would go the whole hog and see them in person (haven't looked at the prices though) xxOMG MFD, I came back from the shop and our cliffhanger Lexulous game has ended, and I can't make it show me the end result! Did you pull it off at the final moment?
AF, if it's a possible solution that has definitely worked for some people out there, it's worth trying for you I think. Leave no stone unturned. Good luck.
I finished by resorting to GIN and if you don't know the answer I definitely wonI may have accidentally purchased a stokke this afternoon!
Also, the Stokke comes with the carrycot part. Would I be better selling that now as I don't need it, or keeping hold of it to sell complete when I don't need any of it anymore?
LOL - I have started another little cult, first Antilops, then Sophies, now Stokkes
I hope you love yours as much as I love mine!
I really wanted the green oneI ended up with turquoise because it was the best offer I could find.
You could always go for a new textile set!
How much are the carrycots going for? TBH I would sell it and recoup some of your money now (or save it for babba no. 4)

Morning all, just a quick post cos at work
Thought that I would let you know when I was in Mr.Ts yesterday I noticed that the Economy Packs of Pampers were priced at £9.49 ... although they have got them on offer at 2 for £16. Have checked all the websites and they seem to be the only ones at the moment but Asda's are not showing economy packs at all on there...
Time to stock up especially with the Morrisons offer.... need to update spreadsheet tonight, must rememeber...Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.0 -
3, I would keep the carry cot and sell it all together. I love the green ones, ours is beige which is good for adding random bright accessories (I thought the beige parasol was too light so got the red one) but shows the dirt a bit.
Very exciting Mel... could be any time *waits with catcher's mitt at the ready*
Hugs for sick mummies and daddies and babies.
Molly is being a nightmare at the moment, she refuses to be put down for a minute, but when she is being held is wrestling to escape. I've tried temperature (normal) food (not too interested unless it's mealtime), drink (sure, a bit of water then the cup is flung away), boob (biting and pulling; not cool), toys (meh), singing and dancing (blank look), naptime (NOOOOOOOOOOOOO MAMA NOOOOOOOOOOOOO) and I'm completely at the end of my rope. Husband and I are taking weirdo baby in shifts so we each get a bit of a break from it. I think she's just frustrated because she can't crawl, and the flight delay the other day also caused some problems because it left her really overtired and she's just catching up. So she doesn't know what she wants but gets angry when we don't know either.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Some have recently ended for £50-£70.
I wasn't sure if people are able to buy just the pushchair, so might be looking for a carrycot seperately, or if it's always sold as a package.
Also, would 2010 textiles fit the 2008 model?
ETA: There is new textiles sets on ebay for almost as much as my Stokke cost me!:beer:0
