3 - I have a stomach of steel so I'm prolly not the best person to ask. I'm also a secret adrenaline junkie, so I have very high standards when it comes to stuff like that. DH found it exhilerating and his tummy was very topsy-turvy though
. I thought it was okayish at best but not something I'd pay for
(not because it was unpleasant but because I found it a wee bit boring
)
Hope SS is having a good time over here in the UK!!

Hiya everyone.
Have been trying to keep up
everything is going good here with Lily. We have our first time parents class at 1:30pm
I bought her some of the Lamaze wrist and sock rattles. She seems confused by them at the moment
Wedding is Saturday! Eek! Having some trouble with my mum telling me to invite people but when i asked about them when doing the invites she said not to invite them.
I called my dad crying and he phoned her to tell her its my wedding and to stop spoiling it for me.
And i found out the reason she's not paying for the food anymore. Because i wanted to choose the food.
Her attitude is, if shes paying she chooses it all and i get no say... (in my own wedding buffett)
OH has a few allergies so i have to choose the food otherwise she would get stuff he is allergic to and not care.
Arghh!
Sorry to let off on here, its not as bad as the message my OH got though with me ranting0 -
DS1 got baby gravy (can't help but think of someones OH on here who calls some other salty stuff baby gravy) but DS2 and Amber get regular gravy (bisto). I don't use slat in cooking either so figure it's not going to be that much.
Was at MIl a few weeks ago and we had dinner. Her tatties made me gag they have been cooked in that much salt! And then she put more salt on top of them. She has high blood pressure too, I wonder why?0 -
EA - people get very wound up over weddings. If that is your mums attitude then just accept it and go ahead with your own plans. And politely tell her no when she suggests that you invite more people (unless you want them there of course!). Good on your dad for sticking up for you.
Remember that it is your day and you deserve to be happy, don't let ANYBODY push you into anything.
Rant here anytime and I hope your day is as wonderful as you deserve it to be xxxplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Aless glad you had a good day anyway, think you needed a good day like that
EA sorry your mum is being funny. It's amazing what weddings can bring out in people sometimes. It's supposed to be a good thing :rolleyes: lol0 -

I was politely not mentioning that(for a change :rotfl::rotfl:)
I will confess that it is my extremely uncouth husband who has been known to use that phrase!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

My dad didn't even come to my wedding meal once we got back from Cyprus.....Not that I really care that much, just shows what kind of person he was!Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Ah wel, when we renew our vows in 5 years we're going away somewhere sunny and deserted to do it
Lily just reached up and grabbed her toy for the first time ever!! I read in a baby book she was meant to do it ages ago so i was a bit worried as she just used to stare and cry.
