  • Beenie - you can buy baby stock cubes from Boots or there are some organic ones called 'Callo' or something that have very little salt - Asda do them (although not with the regular stock cubes in some stores - with the organic range).

I also bought the Bisto low salt version and used that sometimes.

And I stopped cooking with salt.

I think some mummies are more cautious than the ones that are here today ;):D

Are you saying we're careless Mummies? How very dare you! :p

How was Benjamin after his MMR? Did it bother him? Did we see him next day?, he seemed like normal happy Benjamin then.
Only that MIL has V tomorrow and don't want her to have grumpy V.

I also work on the basis that I don't add salt to cooking, and H doesn't really have any 'processed' foods so a little lick of whatever I'm having, or a teeny bit of gravy or whatever won't hurt him too much.

My baby is in his cot :j:j. First time in months that he has napped in it. Today he just went down no problems, so I really do just think it is an age thing rather than anything that I have done differently. It's so nice to have a bit of bubba free time though!

Thanks Mel, had an app at 9am. He is fine and I am over-anxious parent lol. Not really, he has a virus rather than infection and his chest is clear which was my main worry with his hacking phelmy cough.
Doc was lovely, she was pregnant so obviously baby friendly, she commented that this was K's first time at the docs apart from jags but I wasn't sure how to take that comment :o

Glad he is ok:) I usually think it's best to get phlegmy coughs checked out:)
    Its one in each leg.

Yep...and my nasty nurses do it one at a time, not sure about others. When the older two had their baby jabs they were always done at the same time!!

How did that quote get on there?? Anyway, glad you had a nice time away at CP. I would love to try to sometime but it always seems very expensive to me:o

Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

Takes one to know one ;):D

He was fine on the day (although he cried lots - not like when mummy takes him!) pretty much normal.
The next day was when we saw you - and he was fine again...and to be honest I am such a careless mummy I didn't notice any difference in him after that :o

He has been a bit poorly and not up to his usual chirpy self but I have been putting that down to his teeth. He is SO sleepy atm I really don't know what to do with him. He is sleeping up to 15 hours a day, more on some days. More than when he was a teeny tiny babba!!!

All that growing, walking, being cute and making new teeth must be very hard work!

We have a new tooth, (No.5) at the bottom/back. I was having a feel to see if anything was coming through when she bit me! :(

It is expensive. But it is fabulous! It is the only holiday we take DSS on ATM so that kind of justifies the cost for us - he thinks it is heaven!!

He wears himself out all the time...I just wish he didn't get so blooming tired and grumpy!! Remind me of this when I am next moaning that he isn't sleeping!!!

Ouch for biting! Benjamin thinks biting me is a great game...although it is the only way he lets me put my fingers in his mouth. I am still not sure if we have 7 or 8 but we definitely have at least 3 big white lumps trying to break through. Poor babba!

On the plus side his bottom is MUCH better. Although it looks like the bits that were bleeding have left their mark :( hope it is not a permanent scar.

GISI yey for H napping in his cot.

Wigan ladies I need help with something we can do on Sunday in Wigan. We are visiting friends there and their suggestions of things to do just weren't baby-friendly. I did think of bowling but wondered if there was anything locally that was a bit more exciting?
