LOL at the pram addicts. IMO Travel systems are a waste of time, my Graco Quattro was just too heavy to lift and push. So glad i binned if off for the very lovely and light BabyCity jogger mini. It will however be going to a very good home free of charge to a bloke at work. As I got it free of charge from another bloke at work. lol. But at least he will get all the bits, pram, carry-cot, car seat, base etc and then his wife can spend their cash on a new one, once she discovers her own pram obsession. Have told him she will want a new one when bubs is about six months, so just nod, smile and hand over the cash.

Alex is one whiney whingey boy today. He insists on rolling over on to his tummy, but hates it and starts to cry and scream. Has not yet realised that he can roll back by himself!

Joe out playing in the rain. So will no doubt be ill next week, when should be at childminders.

And OH . We all knew cricket would be off due to rain. But he had to go to wait for the official cancellation. Rang at 3.30pm to say it was off and he was staying at the club to watch Rugby and have "a" pint. Translation, will stay all afternoon and most probably night and get bladdered.

This left me with both boys, had to take them both shopping. I never take Joe as it ends up costing a fortune. So i am now lots of £ lighter and he was a complete moaning nightmare.

I must now go and get something to eat. Lots in the cupboards and fridge now, but i so cba to cook.

Travel systems are good value for money, you usually get a good car seat for your money. Just don't have the baby in the car seat too long (or we will all sniff at you and throw cake).

LOL! I just 'heard' Amber, so went up to get her out her cot! :D DOH!

Its the zombies Tia they are out to make you heat things :D and i PMSL at the commenta bout having another baby :P

Kat i prefer air tires as i find them easy to push, height is also an issue as i am a short !!!! and find some of the pram handles are too high? The Jane has a lie flat car seat? not sure what its like but i have just bought the twin and it seems to be great! The Joolz, Buzz, Loola are good but then it all depend on what u like!

WM poor you! shopping with boys is not fun :( it drives me mad when theres lots of food but CBA or just dont know what to cook lol! we just had a roast and it was yummy! have started to make dinner easlier as Erin has stopped eating if its too late? Babies are currently eating choc ices lol! (when did they take them out of papaer wrappers and put them in plastic?)

And also I'm depressed. I bought a lovely cardigan today but my chuffing arms are too chuffing fat so I have to take it back and they don't do it in a larger size! Waily waily waily!

No, the cardigan arms are too small!
I had this conversation a couple of days ago with my mum & sister. I bought a lovely top, but had to take it back as the arms were strangling my bingo wings. Mum & Sister have also recently had the same problem, so sleeve widths are too small (or we are a family of fat armed ladies!) :(

V isn't herself today, lolling about and feeling hot, and she was a little bit sick after not eating much tea. :( She's quite happliy splashing in the bath now though.

OH has gone to the station to do some homework - he can't concentrate here. He's collecting wine and curry on his way home. :D

I've done all the ironing today, so I can have a nice lazy day tomorrow.

Elle - I have an older Chicco For Me...it's okay and got the job done when he was a baby. We only got it because it was the right price (secondhand) IYSWIM, so I'm in no way brand loyal. Just the pram + carseat, nothing else spiffy.

Kat, I think people are saying travel systems are good value because you get a car seat + pram for 1 price but if you can find separate things priced just a cheaply then that's good too as the car-seat-onto-pram function isn't used very much (and shouldn't be anyway). Clear as mud? :rotfl:

If you are struggling to get D to take the milk a hint my sister was given was to put a little crusha milk shake into it!!! its one of the 'safe' milk allergy milkshakes :D HTH :D

Thanks Caz but I am very reluctant to give him anything new with his history of allergies * rolls eyes*. BUT. Big news of the day- he actually sat cuddled up to me and took 30ml straight out of the bottle with no faff and he doesn't appear to be allergic :T
Oh, I will pop that in the sat nav too. Not DH's thing really (he will walk round the zoo to look at animals, but has no interest in animals that actually live here. We are staying just outside of cirecester, and there is fishing, swimming, soft play, playground and chips on site, wich satisfies most of our requirements, but a few days out will be on the cards too :)

what is DH's thing? I may be able to come up with somewhere else :D. If he is a celeb spotter then you can come and see me as we live *this* close to Richard Hammond :rotfl:
