Ooh, while i remember, does anyone know of a forum about setting up a market stall/craft fair stall or something like that?? I'm rubbish at using the search things on here.

Thinking of trying to get one to sell some paintings but need to find out some stuff first.

It really depends on the reliability of the motorway. I do about 40 miles to work, mostly on the motorway, it takes me about 45 mins each way. It is quite difficult to get used to if you are not used to commuting (I was SO tired at first) but after a while you are fine.
However, my commute is very reliable. I have only got 'stuck' for more than 5 mins a handful of times in 2 1/2 years (although I was there for 6 hours once LOL). Hubby used to do it the other way when we lived in the town where we work and he was always getting stuck.

If I headed south on the motorway in a morning rather than north it would take me 45 mins to do about 10 miles.

Does that make ANY sense!!

A friend of mine sells paintings on Etsy, and another has a permit for street selling. I think you'd be best finding a craft fair you want to sell at and asking about their specific requirements?

Perfect sense! OH is on the motorway at 7am and 7pm so he never gets any traffic either way.
I'd imagine this job would be odd hours rather than prime commuter time lol

newbie_maz - try the Up Your Income board. You might find some good stuff about that sort of thing . Also, wow for Evie! Finn's nowhere near sitting up on his own yet, not even for a few seconds (he just falls straight back over, hehe).

You would be surprised when 'prime commuter time' is these days! *area of expertise*

Motorways are generally much busier at 6am than at 9am and the hometime 'rush hour' tends to start about 3pm.

Although I don't know about Scotland

The best option is to apply and see how you get on - and if you get an interview or an offer practice the commute at the right time to get a real indication of how long it will take. You can always turn the job down if it won't work for you.

I am thinking of all these things ATM!

I think you should kick Karen Brady into touch and replace her. Because seriously what does she do? No where near as good as Nick. Am i awful because I think that Nick needs to be is normal sarcastic self, but then i suppose they are just babies and he can't be too harsh. (Except for that hairy one, who looks about 20 years older than the rest).

Have been to docs app with Alex. Doctor is happy to keep Alex on the Enfamil as it seems to be working, along with the gaviscon. Will look at it again after he is one. So have new prescription for the milk and for some eye drops for his hay-fever.

NMS - Glad Liam is getting better.
